We have just got back from a trip to this hotel. It was absolutely fabulous. The Hotel is one of three on the resort, the others being the sea club and sea gardens. We think we got the best deal. The sea Club is the biggest, but when we used the facilities here, it was very busy. The Sea Life, where we stayed is relaxing, wasnt madly busy. There was plenty of room for everyone around the pool and on the beach and we didnt have to fight for sunbeds!! The Hotel serves guests from all countries so there was a good mix. The gardens are immaculate and smelt lovely in the evening. The beach is at the end of the pool area and was beautiful. The corals are amazing. We went on the star gazing trip with Romeo, one of the locals. He works out of an office based in reception. The same trip would have cost us £14 more through our rep and they use the locals to do the trips anyway! This trip see you go out into the desert. The eveing starts with a camel ride and then we were welcomed by the bedouins. We were able to climb a mountain and watch the sun set (an amazing photo opportunity). Then back down to the camp for a bedouin meal and some dancing by the locals. The evening rounded off with the chance to look at some of the most amazing stars. We saw saturn, the moon, the north star, gemini, the big bear and the little bear. Romeo looked after us really well and always made sure we were enjoying ourselves. We also did a trip to the old city for shopping and culture and made a few trips to Naama bay, which the hotel provides a free shuttle bus service for. Naama bay is good for shopping and nightlife and there are a few casinos there. The hotel itself is spotless, the restaurant provides many themed nights and the food is plentiful with lots of choice. All of the staff at the hotel were eager to please and quick to serve. We met many english people who come to the Sea Life on a regular basis and one couple had been 14 times. Most people who experience this hotel once, come back for more! and we will definately be going back to see Abraham, Romeo, Zak, Rimond and all the others who made our trip to Egypt so memorable

this hotel and it's sister hotels, the sea club and sea gardens are all brilliant, you have a choice of various restaurants and bars to use, the staff are extremely attentive and polite and since our last visit (2 yrs ago) the management has changed and have made a few improvements, the food is better and hotter as now served from hot place as opposed to the lift up containers, there are bigger more comfortable sunbeds and lovely bamboo windbreakers between each set of sunbeds making the beach very private, no tummy problems this visit either although i did avoid any contact with water i.e only use bottled water to clean teeth, no ice, no salad etc, but i would like to congratulate the management on their excellent choice of staff, they made our holiday very special, and we will be back........

Arrived at night, first impression was the fabulous smell of the gardens, daylight proved they were the hotels greatest asset.
Very quiet due to recent shark situation and political unrest in Cairo. The staff were very appeasing and hospitable, they tried really hard. The food was a good effort.
Sealife hotel is part of the sea group (3 hotels next to each other), so all 3 hotels facilities are accessible. However, the hotel is just at the end of the run way and on the take off flight path ! The location said Nabq, but that's very loose, it's isolated several km's from Nabq resort. It is also open to the elements oposite Tiran Island so snorkeling, compared to other locations is very poor.
The room was a massive disappointment, a soap dispenser on the wall ( no shampoos, gels, soaps, shower caps, etc). The fridge had 2 litres of water in the mini fridge on arrival - that was it, no replacements. The matresses were as if an elephant had slept on it for 10 years - roll into the middle and no room to move ! I haven't experience this since youth hostaling decades ago.
Entertainment wise there were Russian/Ukrainian's doing the usual water polo, aqua aerobics and evening Karioke, etc. This hotel is geared for English and Russians primarily.
Overall not 4 star, there are many better hotels in Nabq bay, Naarma and Sharm for the same money and rating.I would only recommend this hotel if you want to lounge by the pool for the week and sunbathe. Having been to Red sea on several occasions, this is the first hotel that hasn't refilled the mini fridge with beer, coke, fanta, sprite, water, etc. The hotel is trying hard, full credit for effort, but it's just not cutting it.
And finally, having washed my teeth in bottled water to avoid gastro problems, I was really ill after drinking fanta from the beach bar, I couldn't help think why was the inside of the cup brown when I was drinking orange! I later discovered paper cups being recovered and rinsed in tap water and reused - not impressed.

So.. being a travel agent, and having been to Sharm twice before and staying in the same hotel twice, the Sea Life Resort was a bit of a gamble.. but it was such a good deal i couldnt resist! and it didnt disappoint! The grounds are immaculate, the rooms are very spacious (three of us girls in one room was not a problem) - we were allocated a room overlooking the beach and Nabq Bay - very happy!
Each and every member of staff went out of their way to help you, service in the bar was sometimes a bit slow.. but hey, you're on holiday whats the rush!
The food.. something different every evening, the themed nights were definitely... entertaining!!
The animation team are very good at what they do! Something going on all day around the pool area if you want to join in, and in the evenings too.
The Sharm resort is fairly quiet at the moment with the recent unrest in Cairo, but the Red Sea is definitley not affected and you would not know anything of it once you are in resort!

Dont believe everything you see in the News! Cairo is an 8 hour drive from the Red Sea Resorts and you will not find a better place to spend your holiday in the summer or winter months!
