We have never been to Egypt before so wasnt sure where to stay, so we decided to stay at this hotel. It is more than what we expected and lived up to every penny. The staff are fantastic and couldnt do enough for you, plus very friendly and made you feel really at home. The hotel overall is amazing and looks the part, it has plenty for everyone including young families. They have a private part of beach which is guarded at all times for extra security as are all main entrances to hotel. Food had something there for anyone and we are quite fussy and could always eat with no problems. All the pools are fantastic and lovely and big. It is a very clean and hygenic resort and they keep it like this morning noon and night. If your not sure on where to go and want something value for money with a great feel this is the place to go, you will not be dissapointed.

This was our 2nd visit to this hotel we visited it the first time in June 2013 and decided as a last minute holiday to return the 8th September 2013.
Hotel and rooms are lovely and spacious beds are very hard and pillows not that comfortable but that is just our opinion however we never got a suite as promised by the hotel manager after our first visit but we did get a junior suite which was still lovely!!
Pools are bigand the waterpark is good theirs something for everyone whether your a couple or a family.
Best member of staff in the hotel is Ahmed Magdy he is so friendly and very helpful will go out of his way to please you.
The only criticism would be the drinks not a massive selection as the vodka is not the best.would recommend if you have never been to Egypt the weather is always amazing so you get a great tan and its 10-15 mins drive from the airport.

Room Tip: junior suite is a good choice very spacious

Can recommend the strawberry slush with dark rum from the pool bar mmmmmm lovely & refreshing as the weather was soooooo hot!! Our room was fantastic stayed in room 143 had bunk beds which my daughter loved, beds really comfy, we were shown to our room upon arrival & also recieved towel art & balloons!!!! Nice touch makes you feel very welcome.
Pools were excellent lots of lifeguards, animation team were great didnt hassle you at all.

my partner and i have just returned from a weeks stay at this resort and are now planning to return at end of october we njoid it that much.very clean, food excellent plenty to do,staff were very pleasent.maybe the fact the hotel was less than half full may have played a big factor in the service, quality of food etc.....never the less we loved it as there was always sunbeds available and never any need 2 que for anything. However if you have a late flight the price to keep your room open is 60 euros which we found extremely expensive which i believe the hotel could have took this into consideration and hope they do in future.also the promo rooms are fairly small so a standard room is worth the extra if you like some space.

Five star in Egypt is not the five star we're familiar with in the UK and there is a huge seemingly unregulated variation (http://www.touregypt.net/featurestories/hotels.htm). For example, talking with one of the Egyptian guys who took us out on an excursion, he referred to the Four Seasons hotel as a seven star.

This hotel I would say was more likely around a four though probably uprated for its variety of facilities. The rooms could do with a bit of a spruce up though. We had to ask for ours to be cleaned again once we'd checked in. Our cleaner was very nice and we tipped him well.

The pool areas were large with lots of activities - slides, games etc. We went with our 4yr old daughter and she never got bored in the kids pool.

Food was good with a decent variety despite some of the previous reviews berating it. Coffee is good in the cafe upstairs and the 'Jazz' bar. Ice cream is a welcome treat. What I would say is that they should do away with the burgers and chip fast food - its a waste of an area where another more inspiring food choice could have been presented! Clearly it was for the tastebuds for some of the less discerning or homesick English punter!

On that note, I was amazed by the almost exclusively English contingent. If you like to get away from Brits abroad on your holiday, do not go here (or Sharm at all from what I've heard!). We hoped that there would be a variety of nationalities as on our last all-inc to Morocco last year with Club Med but, sadly, not. The penny dropped when we were in Visa control in the airport when we arrived - it was practically all tattoos, Lambert and Butler and sports gear.

Aside from this, the staff were largely pleasant and helpful - with the exception of the rather rude concierge. All of them practically cooed on our little girl for the duration of the holiday and she lapped it up! Don't expect to get attentive service at the bars however... you will have to wait for whatever the tender is doing first before he labours over to you for your order. This was particularly notable at the pool bar where I took to almost helping myself. The alcohol is all cheap and bootleg - I believe there is a 'super inclusive' option where you can get the real deal - tsk.

As per some previous comments, evening entertainment was pretty poor. The Beach Bar is pretty shabby and the poor English girls who got the gig over here were let down by a dodgy compere and scruffy stage. The 'animation' team for the kids seemed a bit uninspiring during the 'kids section' of the evening entertainment - we were relieved that we hadn't put our little girl in to the kids club during the day when we saw this during the evening. We also learnt from one parent that they had apparently lost a kid during the day as they hadn't recorded them on a register properly at the beginning of the day!!

The excursions and extras were largely pretty good. The guys selling them by day get to know you and tend to leave you alone once they know you've had a couple of things - that's not to say that you should buy your peace though what is on sale is actually worth it - just make sure you barter heavily. We managed to get some real value for money on the massages. The diving in the Red Sea is pretty priceless though I managed to get this down to just under £20 a dive. My girlfriend had a French manicure though that was pretty dodgy and looked like our four year old had done it! Dolphin show is pretty good - though if you've seen one of these shows before, you'll know what their capable of so you might want to save your money.

We had to use the clinic a couple of days from the end of the holiday for our little girl who'd picked up a chest infection. The cost of the doctor is around 70 euros so make sure you're stocked up with meds and antibiotics - the doctors were pleasant and forgiving though even though they seem pretty casual - our little girl screamed the hotel down to avoid an antibiotic by injection and despite preparing it, the guys didn't charge us. Also, make sure you've got insect spray and bite cream for the evenings.

Finally, beach isn't sand - more fine pebbly and the water, coral and sea life just a few steps off the beach, as in the whole of the Red Sea, is fantastic. The jetty is the longest I've ever seen as the water breaks a good few hundred yards from the edge of the beach.

All in all, if you are looking for a reasonably priced break with guaranteed heat relaxing by the pool and you are not looking for top class facilities and service and you don't mind a 'little Britain abroad', we could recommend this place.

Just about to check out and thought I'd best leave a review.

The hotel ticks all the boxes for us. Admittedly the food is average to good, but everything else was as stated on the tin. Whilst the main restaurants are Ok this is made up by the pancake and donut bars!!! Think I'm going to have to pay excess baggage for my expanded belly.

There is a pier that runs all the way out to the reef that you can snorkel from, it is truly amazing that you can walk to such good diving. The rooms are nice and clean as is the whole hotel. The pools are excellent and the animation team keep you entertained. It's a big hotel and with just a week, I'm sure we have missed some of it.

One thing to remember, bring beach shoes as the sand and beach in general is sharp.

We will be back....
