Description: Nabq Bay is on a promontory overlooking the Straits of Tiran at the mouth of the Gulf of Aqaba. Sharm el-Sheikh city has been subdivided into five areas, namely Nabq Bay, Ras Nasrani, Naama Bay, Umm Sid, and Sharm El Maya. Together with Hay el Nour, Hadaba, Rowaysat, Montazah and Shark's Bay, it forms a metropolitan area of 42 square kilometres. Nabq Bay, now one of the world’s premiere resorts and environmentally-protected diving destinations, entices visitors to explore nature or just sit back and relax. Visitors will be charmed by reefs populated with hundreds of species of coral and thousands of tropical fish. It is truly an extraordinary evironment. Hard Rock Cafe Nabq is located right next to Laguna Vista Resort, on Nabq's main road, 10 mins from Sharm El Sheikh International Airport. A great night out , cool fun attentive staff, amazing food, great cocktails, a huge patio terrace to chill and unwind , along with a huge restaurant to hang out with friends and listen to great tunes or stick around for the after dark sessions on the dance floor

“A great addition to the Hard Rock chain”
Reviewed August 20, 2013

We were staying at the Iberotel Palace (Sharm el Maya Bay, Sharm el Sheikh) and decided to visit Nabq Bay. One of the main reasons for this was to see the new Hard Rock however, en-route to Nabq Bay, our guide who we had booked this transfer with (Sharm Club - sales@sharm-club.com) stopped off at the Coptic Church and nearby Mosque enabling us to see these breathtaking buildings before travelling on - the private transfer for 4 adults was the equivalent of £20 and extremely convenient as we could choose the times we wanted to go and return.

Nabq Bay is stretched over a long, long road with clusters of shops and markets scattered along the roadside however, the main shopping region seems to be close to the newly built Hard Rock Cafe (http://www.hardrock.com/locations/cafes3/cafe.aspx?LocationID=534&MIBEnumID=3).

This Hard Rock is a fantastic building which is bright and airy inside and a great place to stop should you want to escape the hustle, bustle - and heat!!!

The restaurant was overun with friendly and helpful staff and the shop was well laid out with a good supply of themed 'Nabq' merchandise. We didn't eat while there (our Hotel was all-inclusive) but if you should decide to dine there, you know you will get a good American style meal - we did see several people nearby who were eating and their plates returned to the kitchen empty which is always a good sign!!

The shops near the Hard Rock were an eclectic mix of a few chain establishments e.g. Starbucks and McDonalds as well as the more traditional Egyptian fare. We have visited quite a few locations in Sharm el Sheikh (Naama Bay, Old Sharm, Shark's Bay, Dahab etc) but we felt that Nabq Bay had some of the best quality products for sale and you were still able to haggle. We also thought that the vendors here are more friendly than in the other places.

We stayed in Nabq for about 3 hours and found that plenty of time for shopping and a drink in the Hard Rock however, if you want to browse the shops that are further up the road or stay longer in the Hard Rock and enjoy a meal, you would need longer.

Lastly, Hard Rock do a Reward scheme (a free reward scheme or one that you pay for that offers additional privaleges) and their Reward Card is accepted at this retaurant

Stayed in Nabq Bay for 3 weeks & must have been here about 6 times. We never dined here we only went in the evening for the nightlife. They have special nights for example Ladies night which is free entry for all ladies from 12.00 til the early hours, incl most drinks for free. They also do an all inclusive which is 250LE which again includes entry & most drinks free. They have special guest DJ's on which on these nights it is not all inclusive & very popular so can be hard to get in. All in all we had many enjoyable nights here & will definitely be going back next year.

We escaped the all inclusive for a meal at the hard Rock and were not dissapointed.

Fantastic ice cold beer with some very good food and great atmosphere and even better service.

My tip would be to share a starter as the portion sizes are large - and the pulled chicken was amazing!

Visited on the last night of our holiday, everything about the hard rock is fabulous, my 16 yr old daughter was in her element,
Our waiter was so attentive, nothing was too much trouble, we had the Rib eye steaks, cooked to perfection, actually one of the best steaks I have ever eaten, cocktails to die for, I was very taken with the pomegranate martini,s.
We will definitely return on our next visit to Sharm
