I chooses this hotel based on the offer it was introduced at the time a chooses, the hotel looks very nice and family rooms are wonderful very big and very nice
The aqua is typically from other hotels like aqua blue water is slightly heated but it is enough for the weather
The stuff are good although sometimes the food is not that good but there are other things that you can enjoy
At last I hope the wave pool dart working soon and if they can hide the back construction area by green curtines it would be better as well

Went to check this hotel out while in sharm as its brand new and we were well pleased the staff couldn't do enough for us especially moataz manager.Mahmoud and ahmed from the bar and amr pool life guard manager the hotel isn't even finished but we had a great time. The rooms were mint and beds so soft you didn't want to get out of it. Food was good in main restaurant and staff in there were great especially abdo who just looked after us as soon as we walked in. When this hotel is finished it's gonna be great place to stay. The aqua park is the best in egypt kids loved it and us to be honest but you cant get the kids out the water its amazing. 2 Negatives only are Italian needs a menu with a choice and not set meals which we pointed out and were told it will be addressed. And location, it's a good walk to anywhere but it's not the end of the world when your on holiday you may like a walk haha taxi available from hotel if needed. Overall well worth a visit.

Things Not Complete
• Lazy River
• Fitness Suite
• Diving Centre
• Ampi-theatre
• Wave Pool – Not heated for another month (Ice cold currently)
• Some Hotel Rooms

Things Not Built
• Medical Centre
• Shops
• Indian Restaurant
• Tennis Courts
• Kids club
• Turkish Baths

Ice Cream –There is a charge for this item which is not part of the all-inclusive package. They are about £1 each but for a family all-inclusive hotel, I’d expect these to be part of the package.

WIFI – Poor speed and only accessible via reception. You cannot access it via your room, pool or anywhere else.

Rooms – We stopped in a room which slept 4 people (1512). It was clean and sheets/towels were changed every day and ample size. On the negative side, the rooms lack a general finish which you’d expect for a 5*.
The phone in our room was not connected. We reported it to reception, after 3 days someone came and about 4hrs later they left. The phone still did not work!

Noise – The disco is located outside the main restaurant and reception so ensure your room is quite a distance from them.
Fire alarms went off at least twice a night for 4 nights. This was due to high winds apparently.

Staff – Most of the staff are really friendly and helpful. The restaurant staff and life guards are especially nice and always take time out to talk to you. They are especially nice with young children and always ask if you have any problems.
It would appear however either they’ve all been told to say things will be sorted the day after you leave or they have no idea and just make it up.

Flight Path – The hotel is basically underneath it, so you can see the planes flying in and out, which is fine during the day, but first thing in a morning and last thing at night, it’s a pain. They start about 8am and can sometimes run until 11pm.

Shower – Nice and hot every night.

Location – The hotel is about 10 minutes from the airport. It is in the middle of nowhere. There is nothing currently around it, but you can get free shuttle buses to Sister hotels and Naama Bay. You can also pay for taxis to other areas which are quite reasonable.
A tip from us is to get a private transfer from the airport to the hotel. Another couple who stopped in the hotel, got a shared coach and it took them just over 1hr to arrive.

Mosquitos – Myself and my wife were only bitten the once the whole 10 days we were here. My kids were not bitten at all. We used repellent each day and had a plug in for each room. there are quite a lot of flys.

General Finish – Having previously stayed at a 5* hotel before this hotel lacks a general finish that 5* hotels should have. For example the stairs to the rooms are not finished properly and some bannisters are not secured properly, cement on the skirting boards, marks on walls and some marks on doors.

Pools Heated – All pools are slightly heated, in other words they are not ice cold but I would not say they are warm. The wave pool was not heated and is ice cold. No one can currently go in it.

Kids Club – The kids club is in a small hotel room currently as the purpose built kids club is not built yet. The kids club staff were nice and good with the kids however. Activities were limited to face painting, watching TV, colouring and some games.

Daytime Activities – According to the hotel, daytime activities happen during the morning and the afternoon. The whole of our holiday we saw no such activities. We asked the hotel manager who assured us that they did, but we never saw any.

Night Time Entertainment – Generally poor. Four times a week there was a live band. This was
basically one of the chefs singing from laptop. The other 3 nights had good entertainment value.
There is a children’s disco each evening. Only 30 minutes and the same music every night.

Restaurants – When complete there will be 3. Currently there is only the main one and the Italian restaurant (extra charge).
Where to start with the main restaurant? Again, the staff are very nice and friendly but they are slow to set tables and take dirty plates away.
The food is international. So if you have fussy kids or are a meat and potatoes man like me you are going to struggle. There is next to no “English” food and we’d often hear other people talking of eating out for tea. The food that is served is the same day after day and is often left out to long and becomes either dry or cold.
The food part of the holiday was the most disappointing part of the holiday. This was the same for everyone we talked to whilst on holiday.

Russians – There are lots of Russians who stay in this hotel, at in most of the areas we visited. Most of them we had no problems with and seemed perfectly fine. There are some however who have never heard of manners, a queue and first come first served. However, this is the minority but it does wind you up when it happens.

Sister Hotels – You can get a free shuttle bus from the hotel to the 3 other sister hotels however you can only use the facilities of the Sea Life hotel. The free shuttle buses run every 30 minutes but finish at 5pm. You can only have drinks and snacks at these hotels. You cannot have a main meal. These hotels only have pools but have full range of daytime activities and a beach.

Building Works – As the hotel is not finished, work is still happening all around you. However it does not start until after 8am. It did not really affect our holiday.

Weather – The 10 days we were there, the temperature was always above 20C but there was always a breeze. 3 of the days there was a strong breeze which meant it was cool.

Drinks – You can get drinks from the pool bars and main bar. There is no indoor bar. The beer is not bad and the spirits are all named brands. The barman will serve kids and make children’s cocktails. Snacks are also available from the pool bars at certain times.

Water Park – There is 1 main pool, a pool with smallish slides and play things, a bigger area where the main slides can be found, a lazy river (not working when we were here) and a wave pool (not working when we were here). There will also be a diving centre when it is built.
Overall, this part of the hotel is excellent. Our kids would spend hours in main pool and on the slides. This cannot be faulted at all.

We have just returned from a week long stay at the above resort, and we all agree that it was brilliant. The staff are fabulous apart from the moody restaurant manager! The food was excellant some days and good otherwise. There was enough choice for the kids everyday, and there was no problems with hygiene. My kids had the ice and salad and we were all absolutely fine. The only negative was that the pools were not heated through out our stay,so the children were upset. But the kids club kept them entertained a few times- it was getting better towards the end of our stay as the Russians seemed to have left and more English families were around! The days the slides were working we didn't see the kids for hours! We definitely hope to return.

Arrived to this hotel Christmas Eve for a 14 night stay, we ran into problems as soon as we had arrived by giving us the wrong rooms etc, it had turned out our holiday company had not passed the right information on to the hotel, lucky for us we took a copy of the holiday booking and all correspondence before travelling with us as evidence. I would not blame the hotel as they rectified everything within 12 hours of being there, I blame the holiday company who we had booked with for not passing the information on that we was travelling with 2 teenagers with hidden disabilities. on to the positive 1 of our teenager became very ill within a few hours of arriving to the hotel reception contacted the doctor who arranged for him to be transported to hospital once discharged the doctor came to the hotel for a week after to check on him. Due to my son who has High Functioning Autism as a limited eating due to there being nothing he would eat we spoke to the head chef who asked for a list of foods he would eat and prepared his meal daily for him. The food was excellent, the chef invited us into the kitchen to help prepare some English menu's and the kitchens were spotless. New Year Eve gala was fabulous they had worked hard and we saw how the tent changed with decorations to the start of the event. even though, the hotel not finished nothing was too much trouble for the staff, they made holiday very enjoyable. The rooms are very comfortable, the water park is an excellent entertainment, evening entertainment was very poor, but i feel once the hotel is finished and fully functioning then the hotel will be a lot better. all the staff we had made friends with was very upset to see us leaving. I definitely be booking to go back as I would like to see how good this hotel is once finished.

Room Tip: we was in block 15 with pool view which was excellent for us as we could watch the boys when they was around the pool from the balcony
