“Perfect Holiday.”
Reviewed December 9, 2012

We have stayed in Sharm nine times now but this is the first time at the Radisson Blu, first class hotel. Our room was really nicely decorated, massive bed , and the bathroom was the best ever. Beautiful gardens, lovely pools, plenty of sunbeds on the beach and the pretty reef with the most amazing fish.
We stayed for eleven days and left totally relaxed having been spoilt by all the staff ,Marwa was always there with a smile while serving the tea or coffee at breakfast, Abdullah who serviced our room every day, and Mahmoud who is an absolute star down on the beach. We enjoyed trying some different food in the restaurant , spoilt for choice with all the cakes on offer too.
Many thanks to Amwary for making our stay special, we are looking forward to staying here next year

Room Tip: Room 4203 mid way between beach and reception.

We recently stayed at Radisson Blu for 2 weeks from the 16th November. We have previously stayed here twice before this year. We found the hotel staff at reception extremely helpful, courteous and anything we wanted they were happy to help. The lobby bar staff were always friendly and nothing was too much bother for them. The main restaurant staff treated us like their family, ezzat the new manager was helpful, all the waiting staff - tariq, mohammed who served us the most could not do enough for us, always courteous, Hafez was completely professional, very knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble for him. Ramadam in the Italian Restaurant was very courteous and professional. Ahmed at the pool side cafe area, Elhoussineyas well. The pool bar staff were attentive. The entertainment crew was replaced in the 2nd week of our stay and they brought fresh life to entertainments provided. Housekeeping staff, room cleaner (Mohammed) in block 5 nothing was too much trouble for him. again cannot fault them. We did notice a change in the quality and choice to the menu in the main restaurant which I will be honest was not as good as previous trips but the staff were more than happy to cook anything for you if there was nothing suitable for you at mealtimes.

Room Tip: Whether you choose poolside view or garden view they are both excellent value for money. We had su...

Things have changed slightly since the last visit, but still a great resort and reallly great staff from Mustafa on the bar to the new housekeepers and the trusty reception staff. The weather as usual was fantastic the only down side was the new animation team, they were friendly and good but everything to be focused on the Russian guests and there was a lot of them, this will not put me off returning next year.

Coming from Belgium we have very much appreciated our stay in Radisson from 19 to 30th November. The hotel is located in a very nice area of Sharm el Sheikh. We were so glad to walk in the so beautiful gardens with a great variety of plants. The rooms are very spacious, well equiped and very clean (thanks to Abdallah). The beach is very large and it is always possible to find a sunbed and a parasol thanks to the good care of Mahmoud who does not stop working for the wellfare of customers. In general the food was a bit too oriental and for lunch we preferred snacks at the swimming pool however we particularly enjoyed the breakfasts. Thank you for our nice holidays in your hotel.

My daughter and I recently went on our first trip to Egypt. We chose the Radisson Blu Resort because of its good reputation.
On our arrival we were warmly greeted by the Reception staff who managed to take all the necessary details efficiently and with a minimum of fuss. We were shown to some comfortable easy chairs and given a welcome drink. The drink was delicious, we later found out it was karkadeh juice – an Egyptian speciality. There was no sense of being rushed, we were assured that our cases were safe and left to relax and enjoy the surroundings until we were ready to go to our rooms. It was difficult to believe that after just a five and a half hour flight from Manchester, a quick ten minutes through the airport formalities and then just a 15 minute drive that we had actually arrived in this amazing place.
The photos we had seen of the hotel could barely do it justice. It was spacious, majestic and luxurious but still managed to keep a relaxing and comforting atmosphere. As the week progressed we continued to be impressed that such high standards could be maintained at all times.
We also quickly realised that the wonderful surroundings were complemented by the even more incredible staff. I hope the hotel owners appreciate how fortunate they are to have such wonderful staff. I myself work in the food and leisure industry and recognise excellence when I see it in practice.
Every member of staff including receptionists, waiters, cleaners, gardeners and odd job men went out of their way to speak to us. We felt like royalty, the standard of English was very good, even staff members whose jobs were not front of house would say hello and check that we were ok.
I wish I could remember more staff names but some I do remember deserve a special mention.
TAMER – who looked after us when we first arrived, he sorted out our luggage, drove us to our rooms and checked we were happy with them while efficiently programming the air conditioning. Every time we saw him he was always smiling and trying to make us laugh with his jokes. He was a very reassuring person to be helping us in our first hours.
We were on an all inclusive tarrif and took most of our meals in the Olivio Restaurant. The choice, quality, presentation and quantity of food on offer was amazing. I won’t go into any more detail on the food as many previous reviews have covered this.
The maître d’ was EZZAT. He was always waiting to greet people at the entrance. He was pleasant, helpful, friendly and above all professional. We felt very safe with his reassuring presence. I am sure that nothing happened in that restaurant without Ezzat being aware. We felt confident that if we went to him with any problems he would have quickly sorted them out….we didn’t have any problems though! MARWA helped him in his role and she always checked up on us.
The waiting on staff worked harder than any I have ever seen, but they always found time to smile, say hello and check we were ok.
SHAREF and AHMED looked after us exceptionally well, our glasses never got chance to get empty!
The star prize for the restaurant would have to go to ELHOUSSINEY. He looked after everyone, kept us laughing and entertained while still managing to do his work.
The Lobby bar was a wonderful place to relax in comfort, with plenty of sofas and easy chairs. The bar staff were all pleasant and attentive. I wish I had noted more names as they all deserve a mention.
WALEED –thank you for making the best Irish Coffee I have ever tasted.
MAHAMMED FATHY was always smiling and totally amazing. I tried to discreetly give him a tip once and I really wanted him to keep it for himself. He went straight away and put it in the communal tip box. I told him off and said that it was meant for him personally, he told me that all tips were shared, I was disappointed that he didn’t accept it but impressed with his honesty.
The animators JODIE and KATY always sought us out and made sure that there was nothing that we needed to make our stay better. There were very few English people in the hotel and it was lovely to have some girly giggles with them.
The cleaners kept our rooms spotless and obviously took pride in their work.
MOHAMMED was exceptional with my daughter’s room (5102). We were always very excited to see which sculpture he had made with the towels. He even went to the trouble of finding English newspapers and leaving them in her room.
The grounds were fabulous, just like they look in the brochures. I never saw any litter lying around, the gardeners worked tirelessly to keep everything looking perfect. The hotel had its own beach and jetty with a safety wire to hold on to in the sea, which made us feel safer in the water.
The sand was coral and not ideal for barefoot walking or children to play on.
We didn’t stay in one place for any length of time but never had trouble finding empty sun loungers either on the beach or by the pools.
My only complaint – I wish the Jacuzzi had been heated!
Hope I can go back soon.

Room Tip: the outdoor entertainment went on till about 11.30 and could disturb you in some rooms

We went on holiday for a week in August, we stayed in this hotel that in spite of the quality of the food was low, the staff were very friendly and welcoming, especially the staff of the beach (recreative), including mammut that with his kindness made us feel instantly good all the week. the environment was very nice, pity about the discomfort of electricity in the evening that stood out ... Apart from that we had a lovely relaxing week. the last thing is that the spa's massages were expensive and the staff was too insistent ..!!

We have just returned from the Radisson Blu, well what can I say - the staff are ALL wonderful they cannot do enough for you. The hotel is beautifully clean. Some of the staff deserves a special mention Kaka from the Animation Team is so friendly and kept us amused whilst sitting by the pool. It was great laying by the pool and then to be sprayed with water to cool you down, later on cold flannels were brought around to refresh you. The food in the restaurant was a tasty and very good. By the second evening the waiters knew what we were drinking and it was put on the table without us even asking!! The entertainment is amazing, Thanks kaka, Mavo, kajo.
Would I go to this hotel again MOST DEFINATELY would I tell my friends yes I would. If you are thinking of booking and want a completely relaxing holiday then you will love it. The beach was nice to sit on because it always seemed to have a lovely breeze.

Room (recommended the Marine Club) was very clean, big and bright.

Thank you Radisson we will certainly be back.
