We have satyed in Sharm many times and each 5* hotel (claims to be) varies tremendously.
I can honestly say that The Rixos is a near to being 5* as it can get in this resort.
We stayed in September this year for a week.
Attention to detail is what wins it for this hotel from the time you arrive to the time you leave.
I could mention many staff but to be honest they were all good and entertained and did there jobs without question.
If I were to mention one person it would be Hesham in the large beach pool. He looked after us and made sure we had a great time.
The only down side is the length of time we stayed it simply wasn't long enough!
The rooms are spacious and cleaned on a regular basis.
The themed restaurants were all high quality as was the buffet area.
People will always moan on here about the Russian contingent but you can always avoid them with the vast amount of pools and beach space.
Personally I found no problem with fellow foreign travelers!
I will return to The Rixos and that in its self is the best advert I can give it! Enjoy!!!

Room Tip: What ever room you have it will be perfect

My wife and I traveled for a one week break, and must say that we were really impressed with the Rixos, On arrival we received a most polite and welcoming reception, everybody (from bell boys to Managers) were buzzing around us making sure that our checking in went smoothly and our luggage sent to the room with minimum hassle, and we were taken on motorized tour guide of the complex. our room or should I say our suite, was spacious with all the trimmings, we actually wondered if they gave us the correct room, the cleanliness was commended, towels, bed linen that was changed daily, the shower room was spotless with all the perks. with a room like that with excellent sea view who would want to leave it, the pools were excellent (all of them), calm clean and properly supervised, all comforts and courtesies like towels & drinks are available all the times, and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful., also must mention the day activities we had and enjoyed, from Submarine diving to speed boating and dessert trekking that included a charming and delicious Bedouin dinner.
The variety and diversity of the hotel cuisine was delightful, you could find any type of food that your pallet may fancy, Indian, Japanese, Chinese, Italian, not counting local cuisine and the vast Middle Eastern Menu. so really we were spoiled for choice and never had the same food twice in our five days stay, the evenings were magical with different venues (European or Local shows) excellent entertainment all round, I celebrated my birthday while we were there, the restaurant staff made a big song and dance about it, well with such night activities again you do no need to go outside the complex only to see and feel the local culture and visit nearby local souks or markets.
We are extremely happy and satisfied with this super hotel (it should be six stars), everything was perfect, we strongly recommend it for its Luxury and comfort also would like to commend and thanks the managers, Mr. Alaa, Mr. Saad and Mr. Said and all the staff for the excellent hospitality they had extended to us and ensuring that we have a great holiday.. I am happy to say that we already started planning to go back to the Rixos during the Christmas Holidays.

Just returned from the Rixos after spending 8 days there for my 20th wedding anniversary there is not a bad word I could say about this hotel from the moment we arrived to the moment we left nothing was enough for every member of staff we met. The accommodation was spacious and immaculate cleaned every day. The pools and gardens where lovely even the towel man came to us every day and fixed the sunbeds with towels and pillows for us. The food was fantastic with seven al a carte as well as a main buffet area which I have to say was massive with every type of food you ever ask for there was food stations that cooked your food fresh from pastas to pizzas to steaks and much much more in the morning there was fresh waffles and omelettes and everything else you could think of for breakfast.would definitely go back to this hotel as we have been to sharm about six times and this is by far the best hotel we have stayed in.

hi sorry im late with review, my wife a i returned on the 28th oct after a wonderfull 11 night stay at this fantastic hotel. we have had many lovely holidays in egypt and our fav hotel has been baron palms, but the rixos is up there as the best, the staff just go that extra mile to make your stay a great one.we booked because of the great reviews on here and the adult restaurant nothing worse when in restaurant and un controled kids running around, its like being in a works canteen, after 3 days they shut the adult restaurant which was a shame, but to be fair the food choice in the the main one was even better and quality of food was very good. the a la carte restaurants were fantastic stunning. i want to thank kelly and her staff especially bella she shown concern and compasion when i hurt my back she even bought tablets from her home for me, and offered a change of room, (that extra mile) thank you bella, the night entertanment was poor, infact we enjoyed watching the kids enjoy there dancing and music more. (you need to give the kids longer 20mins is not enough) we will go back to this fantastic hotel next year its that good. a couple of negatives there was a lot of a certain country there you know the ones rude loud ignorant arrogant (you know the ones) they are so rude to the staff its disgusting, in the main restaurant only one toast machine it was like a rugby scrum trying to toast some bread, i also think the beach sunbeds could be better quaility, this of course is only my opinion, rixos keep up the great work see you again soon mick denise harries

The least to say about Rixos Sharm El Sheikh that it has the luxury at its best. My experience of five days holiday in Rixos was the best holiday I had ever have, the list of joyful activities, service and facilities has no end. In fact, from the first glance at Rixos on arrival I felt the mood of luxury I am looking for, the warm welcome me and my partner had from the management team especially Mr Islam,Said and Saad, who had offer us one of the best available room in the hotel was really impressive. The ensuite room with a walk in cupoard was big and airy with a sea view, very clean, comfortable and tidy. We spent five wonderful days and six magical night. to start with, the great selection of delicious food that served three times a day, lovely presented with a great attention to details. Also, there are several resturants inside the hotel where you would examine the food from all over the world ( Indian resturant, Chinese, Italian, Japaniese and more). As for the verity swimming pools, there is water slides for children, hot swimming pools, private swimming pools and the magnificent main pool. At night after dinner there would be a different show every night from different country; in which singing dancing and other talented activities would take place. Shish, drinks, cocktail and all sorts of refreshments are served to your table while you enjoy the show. The small market beside the hotel made it easy for us to buy few souvenirs with reseanable prices.I liked very much the programmes that would introduce you to know more about sharm ElSheikh desert and the Red Sea, such as diving, speed boating, submarine, camel rides and beduine dinner right in the heart of the sharm desert, where every thing is original and enviroment friendly. I am strongly recomment Rixos Sharm ElSheikh as a holiday resort that would suite every one, singles , couples and families with children. I would like to thank the staff who made our holiday on of the best.

Room Tip: The rooms on the east have magical sea view and they are close to resturants, ice cream, bars refresh...

Having never been to Egypt and having a bad experience of All Inclusive in Europe, I wasn't sure if I should have booked this. But from the moment we checked in, my fears were no longer.
The staff are very polite and helpful, the A la Carte restaurants were great, upon check in make sure you learn about booking your meals via the touch screen system. The bars stock Bacardi ,Jim Bean and Johnny Walker Red Label so if you like those then you will be happy. The local beer is also good.
The resort was 58% full when we were there, there are ample sun loungers on the beach and the pools. There are free clean beach towels everyday, and our bedroom was kept lovely and clean.
Take your snorkel, jump off the jetty and you will see plenty of stunning fish, there is also a Padi dive school that can be booked from the hotel if you fancy a dive.
Apart from some mosquitos, we couldnt find anything to complain about.
I would not hesitate to visit again or recommend this resort.
