We had a fab holiday and found the staff very friendly they couldn't do enough for us, Zak in the main resturant was always very cheerful and willing to help find a table, the towel guy by the bottom pool had our beds ready for us everyday on the beach for when we got there. The spa guys I wold recommend you try out a massage they were fantastic.
All the guys on the beach trying to get you to buy there trips came and chatted to us every day even if we didn't buy from them .
I would recommend the speed boat trip though and the buggy trip .
Wifi was very expensive but we got around that as the guy at the shish bar let us use his as did one of the rep on the beach , you can also go out the front to the lilly bar and get it for free while you have a drink.
Downside to the trip we didn't find the animation team very friendly to start with we had to ask what was there problem with us then they said Hi every day ?
Im also not sure if it recommended for wheel chair and buggies although its got ramps I didn't see a lift so would think its a problem as there are a lot of stairs everywhere ?
We would go back I read a lot about upgrading we weren't asked if we wanted to and there was no need as our room was kept very clean and location was great for us .

Everything the hotel is excellent as the hotel has a number of good properties in terms of rooms , food and drink and eat and also the beach is very nice and clean .. but there is something unexpected and special and we are in the year 2014 as the television of the very old-fashioned and also non- colored

" Come as a guest, leave as a friend" ...that is the motto of the hotel and it's really true..Once you have been there u never wanna go anywhere else....never visited any hotel that can come up to the oriental...I can't count my stays in this hotel anymore but every time I come its getting better and better...

had a really easy and fast check in at the reception...arranged everything with mr.mohamed omar the reservation manager because I wanted to be sure after the long hours flight to get fast into the room..never had an better service in my life ...arrived at 3 o clock in the morning and checked in immediately in a very nice and lovely vip room with 2 massive beds and full mini bar..
Special thanks again to him and the reception ..who helped us through all this 2 weeks

Restaurant had a little change since my last holidays..Food is better now ..There's a big choice of everything. .there's a different style of food every night ...like italian, english, Indian etc.

Loved the beach ...As there is a lovely new beach bar as well..With lots of room and chairs to sit in the shade to enjoy ur lunch and drinks..

There are 3 different pools in this hotel..Each one different..there's the main pool with a little bar for snacks and food and some entertainment with the animation...and than they are 2 quiet ones more to relax and to enjoy the sun..

about the stuff I don't know how to thank everyone for all what they have done for us..really every time I'm there I feel like I'm part of the family. .there is no one who doesn't put a smile on your face and try to make u as happy as possible...special thanks to mohamed(jimmy ) and zac from the restaurant...gommar and waleed from the recreation...hamdy our housekeeper. .who kept our room perfectly clean and comfortable. ...sayed, mish mish and ahmed from the bar...and again Mr. mohamed omar from the reception..they made our holiday so special!

booked my next holidays already for September ..can't wait to see u all again..

Yes our slogan is " Come as guest, leave as a friend" and it\'s a real one as most of our guests return back many times after the first visit and we are very proud of that. We are always there to satisfy our valuable guests and fulfill their requirements. We always take the feedback of our guests especially concerning food and service in order to meet all our guests expectations so we had 7 different Theme Nights with many variety of food items. We always have improvement and you will see it during your next visit in Sept.

Good hotel in al Nabaq area. Far from Nemaa Bay “City Center”
The hotel is cheap, old and need renovation. You should ask for the newly renovated rooms.
Far from its own beach, clean beach.
Food quality is fair, excellent staff and very cheap country.
It will cost you 10 $ to reach any place from the hotel.

Thank you for posting your feedback on Trip Advisor. The hotel is located in Nabq but you can reach Naama Bay in only 20 minutes. Food is made to fulfill all nationalities tastes as we have British, Poland, Russian, Jordanian and Egyptian guest ...etc.

Got back just over 2 weeks ago. Since our last visit in October a lot has changed they have made a new beach bar/restaurant and the food is great all freshly made for you while you wait and take in the view. The quiet pool has also had a refurb all very nice and clean. There has been a change in the restaurant with a new head chef who is always on hand if you need anything nothing is a problem all you need to do is ask and he will accommodate. The food is fantastic always something to eat and the salads are very fresh. I would recommend the Italian restaurant in the hotel if you fancy a change all I can say is beautiful food!
From the moment you arrive at this hotel the staff are always on hand again nothing is a problem if they can help they will. We met a lot of returning guests the same as us been 10-15 times so that just proves that the hotel and the staff are great. The lobby bar at night can get a little busy at times but there never seems to be a problem Mish Mish and Ahmed are like a double act what a laugh. The staff at the hotel all work very hard from front desk staff to the cleaners. I would like to thank BIG Mohammed Fahmy, Morcos Awad ,Ahmed Soby and the hotel gaffer Walid Sakr all these managers are on hand if you have any problems.I could go on and on about this hotel and how great it is but all I can say is we'll see you in March.

Just back from 10 wonderful days at this hotel. From the time we arrived until we left the staff could have been more friendly or helpful, nothing was too much trouble.The hotel is very clean, rooms cleaned daily, pool areas kept very clean the floor and loungers washed every evening. Pool towels were provided which is a bonus. Food is excellent, we aren't fussy eaters so we were happy with the choices.The gardens that lead down to the beach and quiet pool are lovely and very well maintained. All the staff work so hard but remain cheerful with a ready smile and a handshake.The spa facilities are excellent and I can highly recommend the Hammam and massage.Jimmy and Hannay are brilliant in the restaurant, they see you coming down the stairs and find you a table. By the time you get your first course you return to find the table fully laid with fresh tablecloth , cutlery and glasses. They offer to get you a drink too, now that's service.The Hotel Manager was on site and came round to all the guests asking if all was ok and for suggestions on how the hotel could be improved on, I've never seen that in any other hotel.The private beach is large with plenty of loungers and umbrellas and the beach bar does an excellent lunch to save walking back up to the main restaurant. All in all an excellent hotel, real value for money for what we paid and I would certainly stay here again, in fact we are looking to go back in February. If you want a lovely , clean hotel with superb staff and food for a reasonable cost you cannot go far wrong with The Oriental Resort.

I went to oriental 10 th april 2014 for 10 days with my sister and our 3 children . Never been to Egypt before and the holiday was amazing. Hotel manager Mohammed fahny was so accommodating and ungraded us twice free of charge in our 10 days stay. ( he approached us about changing room) .the entertainment staff worked so hard .. Especially steph and babu . We met some amazing people and highlight of holiday was scuba diving booked at the beach . 2 fantastic guys work there... Called Kanye West and Mo Mo. Holiday rep advises you not to book trips with these beach guys... But I met people who return year after year to go on scuba diving trips and they are great trips. On the trip which last about 5 hours, you have the chance to see dolphins turtles as well as usual tropical fish.they also provide a coked buffet meal . I have been back 2 months and have just booked to go back at Christmas. This time booked to do more diving. My son is a very fussy eater , the only thing I can say about the restaurant , is they accommodate all tastes. If you can't find something you like, the chef will usually cook you something on request. Plus never thought I would say this... But restaurant needs to have CHIPS a couple of days a week. When we stayed there in 10 days not once were chips on offer. Don't get me wrong... Usually when you go abroad its chips, chips and more chips. But ignore any bad reviews ...this hotel is excellent. Every member of staff is a credit to the management team. Roll on Xmas EXCELLENT tip ::::::: take £1 coins to give out as tips. This goes a long way xxxxx
