When we arrived at the hotel, our rooms had not been allocated and they could not find us on the system. This was soon rectified with no fuss.
We were shown to our rooms, a room for family of 4 and room for 2 adults. Both parties were disgusted with the rooms, to the point it bought tears to our eyes and we just thought what have we come to. The room was filthy, it did not look as if it had been dusted for a month you could write your name in it, this is how thick it was. When looking in the bathroom there was hair in shower from the previous guest. There was mould on ceiling which looked as if it had come from a leak that had not been fixed. This was the same in both rooms. We went to the reception and they had no problem in changing our room, they looked at us as if they knew that we would be complaining. The new rooms were very basic but clean and useable.
The pools were very clean but cold, which was to be expected in February.
The food was awful, with not a lot of choice. It is a good job that there was a shop on the site as we lived on crisps and chocolate for the week that we were there.
If you are thinking of going to the spa, please do not take any money in there with you as the lookers do not lock and they look after your bag for you due this. Then when you go back to your bag some of your money is missing. When you tell the reps they say that it is nothing to do with them it is the spa. You tell the hotel they say the same and spa take no responsiblity.
This did not ruin the holiday as we made the most of it, but we will not be returning again.

Room Tip: Go for the rooms that are on the right as you come out the main lobby, but not the ones actually ajoined to the hotel as these seem to be the ones that are not looked after

Thankyou for taking the time to write a review regarding your recent stay in Sea Gardens.

It's with regret that the hotel did not meet your expectations. Your comments regarding the first rooms you were allocated have been noted and room cleanliness shall be investigated, currently daily room inspections are made to ensure the rooms are cleaned well in all three hotels.

Guests are able to use the facilities in all 3 hotel and therefore have the choice of three main restaurants. 10 different theme nights rotate around the hotels ensuring guests have choice and variety available each evening. should you decide to visit us again in the future and do not find food is to your taste please make this known to the Guest Relations who will work alongside the chefs to find a solution. We also encourage guests to make reservations in our three a la carte restaurants which offer Seafood, Japanese and Lebanese set menu meals free of charge.

When using the Spa guests are provided with a locker and the key will be given to you at the Spa Reception Desk, if this had been reported to the Management of Guest Relations during your stay a full investigation would have been carried out but we have no such complaint on record.

Kind Regards
Mourad Iskander

Me and my partner have just returned from our 10 day holiday at Sea Gardens! This was also our first visit to Egypt so we werent sur what to expect but we had such a great time and are already looking at going back in September!!!!
Sea Gardens is the smallest out of the 3 hotels but this has its advantages as it is quieter and far more personal but you have the option to visit the other 2 hotels if you want to party a little more! We chose to eat in the Sea Gardens buffet restaurant most days as we got to know the staff and we was more than happy with the food. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner there is a good selection of food for everyone even the fussy eaters like me! The only thing I would say is there was no chips with any meals which could be a problem for some people but we was more than happy with the potatoes, rice and pasta!
The Staff are by far the best thing about the hotel, they work so hard to make sure that everything is perfect for you. They are always smiling and make the effort to try and chat to you. Special mention to our juice guy, every morning he brought us freshly squeezed Orange juice with breakfast (there is an extra charge for this but def worth it!)
Rooms are a good size with air conditioning, tv (good movie channel), safe and fridge. Our balcony looked out at the other hotel so was fairly noisy, best to ask for a pool view.
The beach was lovely and not too far to walk to and we got to see some lovely fish as they just swim round your legs.
All in all we can't fault this hotel at all and would definately recommend!!

First trip to Egypt with two children aged 8 and 13. This is the smallest of the three hotels on complex and this gives it advantages over the other two hotels. professional and friendly staff. you can eat at any of the 3 restaurants in any hotel. The food is buffet style.good size rooms, air conditioning, fridge, safe and balcony area.everywhere is very very clean, realy nice pool, plenty of sunbeds that are very comfortable, it has its own beach where you can feed the fish by hand, lots of them. So in conclusion there is little to fault and much to commend. Would definitely return to this hotel as soon as we can, you can pick up wi-fi in certain parts of the hotel, i think in a hotel as good as this you should have FREE WI-FI. apart from that spot on..

Room Tip: second floor, just to avoid the noise from above....

Just returned from Sea Gardens after our 3rd visit. Each time we go, it just gets better and better. We have 4 kids aged 13, 11, 7 and 4 months old. There is something to do for every child and the staff make the kids feel special and so welcome. A special mention has to go to Karim in Sea Gardens restaurant, each meal he came over, played with the baby, rocked her in her pram, generally entertained her whilst we were eating and made the meal so much easier and more relaxed for us. The manager of Sea Garden restaurant Mohamed runs the restaurant very efficiently, and always goes out of his way to help us find a table (can be tricky with 6 of us!)

I really can't find any fault with the hotel, and we are hoping to go back in november again. The only problem we have now is that our eldest child will then be 14 years old and the travel agents say we have to have 2 rooms. This will make the holiday out of our price range so maybe the management that read this review have a solution to us getting around this as the rooms are massive and can easily accommodate us and our kids???

A quick mention has to go to Emad on reception who always went out of his way to deal with our requests and we had a few with having the baby with us (help with bottle washing, mosquito's in room, and access to amenities etc) Nothing was too much trouble.
Mahmud who works hard at the Sea Gardens pool gets a big thumbs up from us too :)

Can't wait to return, feels like home now. Just hoping we can sort the having to book 2 rooms issue out.......

Recently returned from our 12 day first trip to Egypt, having visited many other places we thought lets give it a try. With such a vast choice of hotels it was difficult to choose, so myself and family decided on the Sea Gardens mainly based on the comments displayed on trip advisor. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone, the outstanding feature being the hotel staff. We found them to be professional, very polite and extremely friendly. This is apparent from the moment you check in.
The staff really want you to enjoy the resort and have a fantastic holiday, always providing guests with a first class service and always with a smile.
Hussain looked after our room providing towel art and flowers everyday, also cleaning the room to an exceptional standard.
The food was of a similar standard to any Med A/I hotel, do not expect Carribean style A/I food (you have probably not paid Carribean prices !) The food is fresh, well presented and varied on a 10 day rolling basis. You can always find something tasty to eat, also the specialty restaurants provide you with other options. The nice Mr Mohameds staff in the buffet restaurant were without doubt the friendliest, most genuine people we have met in ANY hotel. In particular the exceptional Randa, also Galal, Said, Karam,Tarek and not forgetting Ahmed al sayed! I Hope I have not forgotten anyone, these people really added to the enjoyment of our holiday.
The pool and lobby bar service was excellent, You have no need to move from your sunbed or chair if you don't want too...the waiters are well aware when your drink needs replenishing, in particular Mahmoud provides a superb service.
Other contributors have mentioned the hotel gardens, reef, rooms, etc, etc. Suffice to say we agree with the majority of contributions and also found all to be of a very good standard.
In summary: go with an open mind, treat people as you would expect to be treated yourself and without doubt you will have a fantastic holiday at the Sea Gardens.
