We're just back from the Jaz Mirabel after a very relaxing holiday. The rooms are spacious, clean and the food surpassed expectations.

Breakfast was varied and for me a fresh omelette is always a good start. The wine is not a sommellier's dream, but that's to be expected.

Other reviews note that the hotel is a little "tired" - maybe, but not at all bad in my experience and to be expected in a high temperature, high sun climate.

If you are there for kite surfing, it's a great base.

I went to the Jaz Mirabel Club in July 2013 with my partner. First impressions were good, although I was a little disappointed initially with the room standard upon arrival. Comparing to the Jaz Crystal Resort the room standards were slightly lacking. Although it was mainly just the furnishings were a little worn, but for the price it was expected.

However with that in mind we still had a lovely holiday and the other facilities made up for the room. The room was on the ground floor which was nice because our terrace went straight out to the pool, so it was easy to just get up and go out through the patio. The garden's were lovely as was the whole resort. The walk to the beach is through the two other hotels on site, so wasn't easy to just go to the beach. Walking for 10 minutes in the blistering heat wasn't nice, so we didn't spend a lot of time there, which was a shame really. They have a long jetty which was unfinished but nice, and its good for tropical fish spotting. The pool was nice and quite quiet most of the time. The other hotels seemed to have busier pools, so we spent the majority of time at the Club. Although we were able to use the other pools, and snacks bars etc.

The food was quite nice, good choice for veggies most days. There was a variation every night and theme nights, and there was a choice of lovely breads, deserts, and a pasta counter. Also you could have freshly cooked omelettes. It was very very hot (40-50 degrees c) quite unbearable if your trying to do anything other than sit by the pool. Often we would go to the room to cool down and have a break from the sun. A bonus of this hotel is that the air conditioner was very good.

The staff were mostly very nice, although all very busy. The pool bar waiters would only bring certain people drinks. When we went to the pool bar our drinks were served in tiny paper cups, which we drank most of on the walk to the other side of the pool. There were no cocktails available there, the cocktails were available from lobby bar.

There isnt much in the way of entertainment, but we don't like that sort of thing so were pleased about that. There's a good choice of hotel shops, and they're not too pushy with the sales. Beware if you go out on the main street. We got talked into going into a perfume shop as he asked us to sign his book repeatedly. When we went in he drew the curtains and mixed a perfume and was attempting to force us to pay for it. When we refused he turned to begging for money to fed his wife and small child that were sat on the street outside. DO NOT go into the perfume shops outside the complex!!!!!

We had a very nice and relaxing holiday here at the Jaz Mirabel Park would recommend it if your looking for a no hassle, cheap(ish) and relaxing holiday, but wouldn't return myself as I didn't like Nabq bay. Going to try to the Jaz Belvedere in Sharks bay this month.

Room Tip: We would recommend a ground floor room - they have stairs only to first floor and ground floor provide easy access to the pool through patio doors.

This review is late, sorry. We visited in November and had a lovely time, but unfortunately the restaurant was closed off, due to the hotels being quiet, therefore we didn't have the choices of where to eat, which was a disappointment, as you can get bored in the same one all the time.
Thoroughly enjoyed the beach with lots of sunbeds, and camels wander past too!! weather beautiful, albeit sun away went early and dusk arrived, so had to be up quite early in the morning to make use of the full day.
Food could have been better, but generally found something.

After a bad start at the Radisson Blu, we moved to this lovely hotel after recommendation from another guest after our first day.

From the moment we walked into the lobby the staff could not have been more friendly, upgrading us to a family room without us asking, this room had 3 beds, 1 super king and 2 singles. We were introduced to Ayman who cleaned our room daily and provided us with inventive towel animals! We took part in the towel animal game but wasn't as good.

We only went to the main restaurant as we found the food varied we enjoyed the food. There are a la carte restaurants but the food in the buffet restaurant surpassed expectations by a long way. The drinks were on tap ,literally, with beer and wine for self service as well as soft drinks. All the staff in the hotel go out of their way to be attentive; the restaurant staff were always friendly and asked how our day had been.

We mainly sat by the pool by the club hotel but could have sat at any of the pools and used any of the facilities within the complex at the club, park/ beach. Bahaa kept us readily supplied with drinks throughout the stay and the pool area was always clean and tidy. You will get asked most days about going to the spa/ hairdressers, but once they know you have been/ are not interested they are friendly and just stop to say hello. I did go to the spa for the chocolate treatment - make sure you haggle for the best offer!!

The hotel is quiet but there is entertainment every evening, however the sound doesn't travel so you can have a quiet night in your room away from the music if you want. We bought extra wifi (250mb) for £10, you do get 150mb free with your stay at the club.

The beach is coral with hundreds of sunbeds so no getting up at 0600 to reserve sunbeds!

Overall we had a fab holiday, everyone was beyond helpful and made our holiday so much better than it could have been had we stayed at our first hotel.
