Fantastic hotel and staff! Osama the waiter was so attentive to us.... We hardly lifted a finger whilst there because the staff were so good. Thomson rep was brilliant and very informative. Red Sea Snorkling trip was incredible.... We even saw a turtle. The food was very good with so much choice. Hope to go back next year with the family as the park is fab for children with 4 slides and warm baby pools.

This was our second trip to the Jaz Mirabel Park, First one being November 2007, we recommended this resort to my parents and were hoping it was as good as the first time, we were wrong it was even BETTER! The Staff are excellent and can not do enough to help you. We knew there were steps from the Restaurant to the Bar and my Mother is disabled but they arranged for the Club Car to collect her every evening to go to the Bar and return to room later. The Food was excellent with plenty of choice and the rooms were kept clean and tidy daily. The restaurant staff assisted my mother with getting her food to avoid our meals becoming cold. The Pool Guys had our loungers ready with a padded one for my mother in front of our rooms every morning. The Thompson Rep was always on hand to assist and answer any questions we may have. The Management bent over backwards to ensure everyone was happy. There are no negatives only positives for the Jaz Mirabel Park. Excellent all round holiday. Well done Jaz Mirabel Park Management and Staff are a credit to you!!! Jackie, Paul, Dave and Barbara - West Midlands.

Our second trip to Jaz Mirabel in 6 months, and what can I say, other than this place is fantastic, and I would highly recommend it!

Rooms are light, spacious and clean, and the anticipation of what towel art you may find in your room each day makes leaving the pool area to return to your room a little more interesting! Bathrooms are large, with walk in showers and complimentary toiletries.

There are 2 main pool areas, a quieter pool on the Club side of the complex and another 2 pools (one heated , which is a bonus in winter) on the Park Side, one of which is where the animation is based, with water aerobics, water polo etc, and a great choice in music for most of the day, that suits all ages. All pool areas are kept meticulously clean and the pool guys, particularly at the Park pool do a great job in making sure that everybody is looked after, nothing is too much trouble for them and they always have a smile on their face, which is always nice to see!!

Both pool bars are great, and serve snacks for most of the day, for example, delicious pizzas, burgers, hotdogs, sandwiches and it was great to see the introduction of a daily special to the menu, but the Oasis Pool Bar deserves a special mention. The Chef there is extremely accommodating, and will do his upmost to ensure that your requests are met. The bar area, tables, floor etc are all being constantly cleaned, ensuring that whether you are dining or just enjoying a drink, the experience is as pleasurable as it can possibly be. All of the staff at the Oasis Bar, in particular Amr, who manages, Bemen, Osama and Tariq so well, should all be commended on the level of service, attitude and proffessionalism that they display at all times. Being a lot quieter at this time of year also enabled the staff to provide a waiter service to your sunbed...sometimes without even having to ask - a great touch, as is the frozen glasses and the fruit offered in the afternoon, nice touches whoever thought of those!!!

The restaurants, the larger Flooka, and Cactus restaurants (both serve exactly the same food) provide a great varied choice of fresh, food. Breakfast provides a variety of fresh bread, eggs, fresh omlette station, sausages etc (although no pork for religious reasons), cereals, fruit, yoghurt - ample and something to suit everyone. Lunch, if you chose to eat in the restaurants usually consists of fresh soups, salads, bread, kebabs, chicken (the breadcrumbed fried chicken is particularly good), meat, fish, rice and there is always the fresh pasta stations if you are really struggling, as well as a childrens area. For dinner, there is a theme every night, from Grandma's Cookbook, to Mexican night, with a great variety of dishes on offer to suit all pallets. There is always a great choice on offer, and the Chefs are always on hand, informative, approachable and accountable, which is something that I particularly like. They will go out of their way to provide you with what you want, for example, when we visited earlier in the year, my brother in law fell in love with a particular syrup and coconut sponge cake. On the first night of our return visit, he asked the chef if there was any available. Within 5 minutes, there was almost a full syrup and coconut cake brought to our table - another example of the level of service that these guys strive to achieve! Superb!

We spent most of our evenings in Mazag/Terrace Bar. It was pleasant to sit outside at this time of year - during the summer months, it can be a bit too hot. It does get a bit chilly later on though, so a cardigan is useful, but if you forget there are plenty of places to treat yourself to one!! Again, superb service provision in Mazag/Terrace Bar - under Mohammed (who stays in the background, but his efforts dont go unnoticed), and Amr's excellent supervision. These guys really are an asset to the Mirabel Complex, and this shows even more so by the excellent relationship that they have with their team, in particular George (who makes the best cup of lemon tea) and Lamloum who are always on the ball, ready to fill up your glasses and just generally provide a service that would exceed most people's expectations. Another little breath of fresh air is the late evening cleaner in the Terrace Bar, Fathiye, who is a pleasure, works extremely hard and always has a massive smile on his face - Management take note, he should become a member of your Bar Staff - he would be amazing and bring a smile to so many people's faces.................

The animation is quite low key, if you want tacky shows every night then stick to the Balaerics, but I think it had greatly improved since the summer. I think the hotel have got the animation, and the animators just right at the moment!!! They are a great mix of personalities, they ask you if you want to get involved, but dont hassle you if you dont, they are friendly, approachable, and Usher does a mean Micheal Jackson Man in the Mirror, better than Jacko himself if you ask me!!!
There are various acts that come in to the hotel, but the inhouse guys are just as good, providing some great music, dancing and the odd bit of karaoke.

The Management Team are always around, and are very approachable, as are Guest Relations, in particular, Charlotte who is more than approachable and will go out of her way to meet your needs.

There are some al a carte restaurants available on site, and the Italian is definately recommended, although may incur an extra charge.

There is a cash machine available at the entrance to the Park Hotel - my advice would be to draw out your cash when you get there rather than get it exchanged in the Uk - you get a much more favourable exchange rate doing this.

There are plenty of shops on site, in the courtyard of the Beach Hotel, where you can also enjoy a shisha for a couple of pounds. Dont be put off using these shops, they are as cheap as the shops off site, just remember your bartering skills - its how things are done here so have a bit of fun and go for it - they guys in most of the shops are great fun and are trying to make a living, just like the rest of us!!!!

There are plenty of shops and restaurants within a short walking distance of the hotel, its perfectly safe, I wouldnt hesitate to walk around on my own as a single woman. Naama Bay is worth a visit - there are taxis available outide the hotel to take you there - its about 20 mins away, but again, barter your taxi driver down - you should be able to get a return for around 100 - 120 Egyptian £.

If you have any hesitations whatsoever, DONT, I have already booked again. I have stayed at a number of hotel chains around the world, Jumeriah, Le Meridien, Atlantis, and I would seriously put this up with the best service provision I have received. its a smaller hotel, but with a seriously superb personal service that is unbeatable.

Well done Jaz Mirabel, you deserve your accollades and awards, I will be returning regularly!!!!!

We stayed here 26th November - 10th December 2012. A wonderful peaceful two weeks. Very tranquil, relaxing holiday. We used the Club pool which was the quieter of all the pools. Extremely clean and well maintained hotel. Staff all very friendly and polite and well trained. Gardens were lovely, tidy and well manicured. Particular thanks to Mohamed on reception, Malak in the Mazag bar, Ahmed the Cactus restaurant waiter, both big Mohammed and little Mohammed in the Flaka restaurant, Ahmed at the Club pool, Sami in Flooka resttaurant and Yasser the Manager. All staff were extremely attentive and a pleasure to talk to. Huge choice of food at meal times. If there was something you didn't like there was plenty other things to have. All the meats, fish, salad and fruit, very good. Would stay here again.

Room Tip: Request a double bed. We sent an email to the hotel and received a lovely reply. We had a large bedroom facing the pool with a kingsize bed and balcony.

We stayed here for 7 days prior to going on a red sea cruise, had a great time especially through the day around the pool areas. These lads never stop and are always cheerful and very helpful, Tamer made sure we had sun beds together everyday (9 of us including 2yr old grand daughter) admittedly the pool area wasn’t that busy but we still felt special and well looked after. Mina the lad in charge of the sunrise bar is also a star, never a problem getting a drink and delivered to your sun bed at regular intervals throughout the day Cheers lads you made the holiday for us all. A special mention also to Sameh on club reception he is great and very helpful Cheers again.
My wife and I stayed in the Park whilst the rest of the family stayed in the Club and to be honest there’s not much in between the two The club rooms are maybe a little older but are much bigger but even the park rooms are a good size so no probs there. Both hotels are right next to each other so whichever has the best price is the one to go for.
Our room cleaner was spot on great lad Ayeman thanks mate you do a great job (Room2530 I think) TV a few English speaking channels Fox, Movies, news etc so enough to get by on. Beds very comfy, bathrooms good and showers are massive +complementary shower gel/shampoo, soap etc Hair dryers in bathrooms. All rooms I think look over the pools or at least all of our rooms did. Air con great not to noisy, free in room digital safe no complaints with any of our rooms.
Food was ok not really what where used to but certainly of a decent standard & always something available to get by on. Chef will do specials for you on request we asked for sliced melon for the grand daughter and a big plate load was promptly delivered. Restaurants could do with the floors & tables being cleaned a bit more often but not really a major problem whilst we where there but might be had the hotel been a busier.
Bars We drank in both the club and park bars with no problem. Various cocktails and as many spirits you could wish for at whatever strength you want! Lager was decent enough as well. Bottled water is available free of charge from behind the bars for your rooms. I had noticed a few reviews saying you could only drink in the hotel you are booked in, this was not the case while we where there, but might be in busier times. Never had the need to use the Beach hotel so can’t comment on that one. (I believe you can only eat your main meals at your hotel but as all meals are from the same kitchen this made no difference. We never tried to eat in the club restaurant so can’t be definite on this)
Entertainment Not great but after a few beers join in and have a laugh we did along with lots of others from all age ranges. Normal stuff disco, karaoke, singers and traditional dances etc
A couple of our party got upset stomachs, possibly over indulging but a visit to pharmacy on site promptly resolved these problems (about £18 for three different tablets that cleared problems up within a day or so)
All the hotels are in very good condition, but the thing that makes these hotels stand out is the staff, they all seem so happy and treat you very special. Yes we tip and yes they deserve it, but I think even if you are not one for tipping you would still get the same level of service because they seem to like British people as most of us treat them with respect unlike some of the other nations who go to these hotels.
Cash machine on site outside beach hotel you can feed £ notes in & get Egyptian notes out or use visa debit credit, It was also a better rate than we get here.
Would we go back yes if the price was right. The weather as usual was good, the food was ok (Pizza, burgers hot dogs chips etc available at the pool snack bar, cooked freshly while you wait), the drink was good, the rooms are good, the pool areas where good and the staff excellent. So enjoy
We booked various trips with a lad called Costello (just outside the club hotel to the left across the road there’s a little shopping area he has two shops selling various tours, quad bikes, £10 per quad) all our trips where at a good price and turned out the way they should without any problems. (They are however booked at your own risk so the choice is yours)
