“Excellent part of our Honeymoon!”
Reviewed May 4, 2013

Me and my newly wedded wife wanted to go to Egypt to see the Pyramids, and also wanted a little bit of adventure and that's exactly what we got and more. The trip was amazing Khaled and Hamuda did an excellent job especially because they know the desert like the palm of their hand and have been doing tours all over Egypt's western desert for over 13 years, their food was also delicious and abundant . We did just a one night trip to the white desert which as Khaled greeted us "welcome to the moon" is something out of this planet! It was romantic , fun and adventurous. Sandboarding in the dunes was really fon for us , as well as waking up to an incredible sunrise in the white desert surrounded just by another part of nature we had never explored. Highly recomneded if you get a chance to go to this part of the world!

“By far, the best thing to do in Egypt”
Reviewed April 27, 2013

Amazing trip, really recommend it for anyone living or visitng Egypt. We live in Egypt and for us travelling to the desert with Khaled's company is by far our favourite thing to do. We have done it several times. Khaled is extremelly professional, with a well trained team that are good at everthing, from driving in the desert, to setting up the camp, to cooking the best Bedouin food and even singing. It is well organized with different sight seeing in the Black and White Desert. He brings all needed equipments, including tents, sleeping bags, food, drinks, sandboards, etc. We travelled with many children from 2 to 15 years old and they all loved it: sandboard experience is a must and looking at the starts in front of the fire, priceless. Khaled's company is the best choice to travel to the desert in Egypt.

“A life time experience with a wonderful team (knowledgeable and trustworthy)”
Reviewed April 23, 2013

We loved the trip to the white desert with Khaled and his team. He was very efficient and organized the tour for myself and my partner only with a couple of emails. Not only everything went as planned, but also the experience itself was great. The White Desert is a wonderful place and Khaled and his team, are great. From the taxi driver that went to pick us to the train station in Cairo and brought us back to Cairo, helping us to do some shopping at the market (even doing the bargaining for us) till the team that went to the desert with us. They were friendly and highly professional. The price was quite reasonable for the great service we got. So, we would definitely recommend them to anyone wishing to visit the White Desert (by the way, is one of the most exciting experiences we had in Egypt... so we would also recommend that to anyone visiting the country).

“Well organized, fun and safe trip on a basis of huge desert knowledge”
Reviewed April 14, 2013

We enjoyed the modern bedouin life (jeep instead of camels - very comfortable) and will never forget the wonderful experience we had in late March. We also know that the reason is the big knowledge of the desert that Khaled and his strong crew knows how to combine with individual wishes into a well planned and well done tour.
We are, and travelled as, a Danish family from Copenhagen consisting of six persons: two parents, three grown up daughters and a son in law, all in the 20's.
We visited Egypt in 11 days and wanted to visit Cairo as well as Luxor. Western Desert Tours suited this purpose perfect, as Khaled made it possible to link these two destinations via an amazing alternative route through the Western Desert. A perfect online communication led us to the decision to go from Cairo to Luxor in four days (three nights under the stars) and Khaled helped organizing the trip from Cairo to Baharia Oasis (jeep starting point) and from Dhakla Oasis (jeep goodbye point) to Luxor. Everything regarding this transfer went smooth.
We especially enjoyed and were surprised about the variety of different desert types and geological wonders you meet in Western Desert.
Our experience of marshmellow-like White Desert, the sand dunes and the sand surfing in the jeeps, hair washing in The Magic Spring, the mountains under the full moon, the small and funny desert foxes and the well prepared, tasty and clean food. All of this means that we can really recommend this company and crew.
We were well amused and well informed during the whole trip. Khaled and his crew were good at understanding our wishes for both adventure as well as a safe and peaceful trip.
There are many good experiences in Egypt, but this one was one to remember, and one we would love to try again. The only thing we regret is that we did not take more nights – when you get used to the life in desert you dont want to leave!
Best wishes to Khaled from Copenhagen!

“unforgettable desert safari”
Reviewed April 4, 2013

we just like to put a few wonderful words for Mr Khaled and his team. We did all our booking through internet and Mr Khaled came to pick us up. We liked his prompt and detailed explanation as to how he would organise our trip as per our requirements was amazing without any hassel.
After the trip we felt we should have spent few more days as the time we had with Ganese and osama was memorable as we felt that touring with Mr Khaled and his mates specially for ladies is very good. They treat ladies with lot of respect. The Lunch and dinner was very good and homely. The warm sleeping beds and blanket was very organised for a cold weather in the night with bonfire, singing and lovely dinner cooked on fire. All places were shown as per our requirements as we had organised the tour private just for both of us. The 4x4 vehicle had no problems on the way. They went out of their way to show us the museum as we were short of time.
We were so happy that we promised Ganese ( the fun man in our trip) that if possible we would definitely attend his wedding as that would give us an opportunity to be on another trip with Mr Khalid and team.

All in all Mr Khaled , his team and eqypt is a place to see and not miss to spend a night in the white desert with Khaled ad
