““Fabulosa hacienda””
Reviewed September 22, 2013

We went there for lunch in our way to Ibarra. The food was delicious. We want to congratulate to our friend Alex, the manager, for his important support, especially his smile and service in the whole moment that we were in Hacienda Pinsaqui. The hosteria is a stunning old hacienda. We loved the place so much that we decided to come back and stay for one or three nights. The views of the Imbabura Mountain are stunning. There are no words to describe the property and the surrounding highlands, but if I were to attempt to describe them, the only word that comes to mind is magical Highly recommended.

“Great Lunch at an Old Hacienda”
Reviewed July 14, 2013 via mobile

We had lunch with another family on a Sunday. The food was delicious, the old hacienda and its gardens are so beautiful and the staff attentive so the whole experience was one of the highlights of our trip to Ecuador. Highly recommended. Nest time we may stay for one night.

“Beautiful Hacienda”
Reviewed May 16, 2013

This hacienda has a very home feeling, the rooms are very charming and have a lot of history, the food may be pricier than the other haciendas but it is very good and the service as well. This hacienda is great for weddings, it has a very romantic feeling. You can rent horses but be very early for that since they are usually on demand. It has huge fire places with plenty of artifacts typical from the Andes old haciendas. Worth the visit, even if it is only for an afternoon cafe.

“This is living!”
Reviewed March 18, 2013

When I sat down with my laptop in one of the hotel's sitting rooms, an employee materialized and kindled a fire in the fireplace across from my couch. Later that evening, guests were served cinnamon tea with a shot of liquor, plus pastries, in the same room, and serenaded by a group of local musicians. That entertainment, plus a stroll around the impressive grounds, was included in our stay at no extra cost. We had an excellent dinner and breakfast in the hotel dining room, and a good night's sleep as well. This three-century-old hacienda is convenient to Otavalo and well worth a visit if you'd like to see how the other half once lived.
