The birds are well presented and interesting to see. Wonderful to see the birds actually flying over the valley. The center includes Vultures, eagles, hawks and owls. The exhibition is well done just wished I knew more Spanish.

The condor project is not a tourist attraction in the regular sense. It is a good walk from Zuleta, but so much to see on the way, foxes, hawks and so much more. The French biologist in charge of the project was so welcoming and sowed us round and we just sat on the grass and talked, and forgot the rest of the world!

We enjoyed our trip to the Condor Park! It was amazing to see the demonstration of the Eagle flying.

We arrived just in time for the flight show. This consisted of a number of impressive birds being brought out, encouraged to fly while the presenter gave a narrative of the bird. This is all in Spanish so unless you have your own interpreter you're a bit stuffed. It ends when he brings out a kestral that will sit on our arm while you get you picture taken. There are also lots of other rescued birds in the park. I particularly liked the owls. The park does good work and is worth the trip.

The $4.50 entry fee was reasonable for this bird of prey park on the hillside high above Otavalo. The varied bird species included hawks, owls and a Condor and the birds looked well kept although I thought their enclosures were on the small side. The biggest disappointment was the absence of any information in anything other than Spanish. This meant that most foreign visitors would struggle to learn anything about the birds, their habitats or indeed conservation. This felt like a wasted opportunity to turn an okay attraction into a really enjoyable one.
