Mr. Eduardo Meneses was a professional and genial tour guide. He gave our family a thorough, pleasant, and informative tour of the sights of Guayaquil. I would highly recommend his services to others.

Eduardo Meneses is a delightful gentleman who is an excellent guide of his hometown Guayaquil. I contacted him via email prior to arriving in Guayaquil, he was very responsive to my requests, met us ontime at the hotel and we enjoyed a 4 hour city tour.

My family and I recently toured Churute with Eduardo, and we found the tour to be well worth it. I hesitated to book the tour because my husband and I normally do things on our own, but we found the tour to be quite informative. Eduardo and our guide from Churute were able to point out numerous monkeys and birds that we would have never seen if we had been hiking on our own. We also found the coffee plantation side trip to be quite fascinating. Overall it was a unique and interesting way to spend a day in Guayaquil.

We strongly recommend touring both Guayaquil and the near-by Churute forest preserve with Eduardo Meneses when in Ecuador. We found Guayaquil to be the most fascinating city that we'd never heard of. Its a friendly and modern city with a vibrant waterfront and a historically interesting down-town. Eduardo brought it alive for us with tour that high-lighted the city but also responded to our interests as we went along. He suggested we also tour the Churute rain forest and mangrove swamp and this turned out to be a wonderful day as well, ending in a tour of the local guide's cocoa plantation with a lunch provided by his vivacious sister. Eduardo speaks fluent english and goes out of his way to make sure that you experience the foods and culture as well as the sights of this not-to-be-missed area. If you're going to the Galapagos add a couple extra days to really enjoy modern, coastal, Ecuador.

Guayaquil surprised us all, I mean we were not prepared for this. A romantic city, proud people, great background, and modern. I mean we were told so many bad things and out on the streets we found this city to be the most interesting in our six weeks, three south american countries.
Thank you Eduardo for sharing you experience and knowledge about Guayaquil and Galapagos. By the way the way you taught us to pronounce the name of Guayaquil is so ingenious.

Keep the good work pal. We´d return here any time.
