Sonesta is always an excellent hotel stay with the best location for me on top of a shopping mall, but Sonesta always fails in the same couple of small details:
- Coffee in the room is refilled only once or twice per week, so why to bother to have a coffee machine in the room? You cannot easily by the special coffee pods from a supermarket.
- Both water bottles are refilled for a couple of days, but then you start to get only one.
Reducing service leads to disappoinments. For example, after a hard day at work you look for a relaxing coffee moment -> no coffee..., you need to leave to search for a coffee.
A Hotel at this level should afford to give coffee and water. The rate remains the same for a longer stay, so why not to get the same service?
The flaws are of course small and meaningless for many travellers. The problem is it works always the same way every time over the years. So, this appears to be a service strategy for coffee and water.
Otherwise, there is nothing to complain and I can only recommend the hotel. But, due to the continuing small but annoying flaws I am concerning Sheraton for the next visit.
