Nice clean hostel with a good kitchen. Breakfast was nice, eggs, toast, bit of fruit, fresh juice and tea or coffee. Location is ok, but far out from the main area but an Uber is $3. There is a swimming pool but we didn’t get to use it because it rained.

Main issue - no hot water!! Weather may be hot but at least warm water would be nice. Nobody wants a freezing shower everyday.

There is a lovely hostel dog Nacho, completely harmless!

ery nice hostel - they have this awesome mango tree there and if you're around at the right time you can have all the mangoes you can eat. Great pool, comfy beds and really nothing to complain about! Super friendly staff - you won't be disappointed :)

I stayed at the hostel for a week while I took a SCUBA certification course and I wouldn’t have chosen any other place to stay in Guayaquil. Everyone at the hostel was friendly from the start and they helped me out with anything I needed in a genuine manner that always meant I got what I was seeking out. The pool was a great way to relax after class and the kitchen had everything I needed to cook some great meals. Very good experience for a stellar price. Would absolutely recommend to anyone!

We stayed at this hostel for four nights. The staff were accommodating and the communal areas are beautiful. They have a pool and a super cute hostel dog Nacho!! The area is safe and close to restaurants. Thanks for a great stay! :)

This hostel is a very special place, because everything and everyone there makes you feel like you're home. Location of the hostel is absolutely perfect, because
its located no more than 10-15 minutes away from the airport. Side note: we were NOT some light-packed-backpackers, we were (are) a family of 5!!!!! 2 adult and 3 kids with tons of luggage, strollers, baby seats, carriers, etc. The minute we walked into the hostel, we were helped and accommodated by Steven and Jennifer to our room. The room was perfect size for us, very clean, with beautiful bathroom and storage space. They gave us bunch on clean towels and helped us settle in. In the morning we were greeted with wonderful breakfast and coffee/juice. Whenever we had any questions about tourism, shopping, dining, anything for kids to do, were helped immediately. The staff went above and beyond to help us out and even helped out with kids. The pool was super clean and fun for everyone to cool off in. The back dining/pool/bar area is cozy, beautiful and chick in the evening, because of the lights and subtle music. It's a beautiful place to sit in with a drink (or not) and just enjoy the evening air. After few days of traveling around Ecuador we accumulated bunch of dirty clothes. Not only were we accommodated for a same-day laundry service, but everything was neatly folded and waiting for us. Overall experience was amazing, to a point where we want to come back again to Ecuador and no doubt stay at NucaPacha again! Every staff member was welcoming, and so so sweet to us and our kids, sharing their home-made ice cream with them and playing with them.
This hostel, is not just a place to crash for backpackers, it's similar to staying at a friend's house where people are happy to see and will do everything to make you feel comfortable. And yes, its absolutely great for families with kids as well!! I highly, highly, highly recommend it!!!
