The word "Palatin" was first mentioned in Roman history, and is continued to be used in the present. Specifically, in the cradle of Western civilization - the seven hills that belonged to ancient city of Rome. Palatin is the centerpiece of the seven hills and is one of the oldest parts of the city. The best definition of the cuisine of Palatin would be: traditional Croatian cuisine from regions of Zagorje and Medimurje, combined with international cuisine. The restaurant pays great attention to daily-fresh and only high quality ingredients supplied by best Croatian food producers What can be found here? Baked veal with gratin potatoes in a Spanish sauce, duck drumstick "confit" with homemade pasta in "gastrique" sauce, deer medallions in "lugarski" sauce, pasta which is of only home- made creation, "Boškarin" Istrian steak with truffles, T-bone steak, grilled Argentinian beefsteak, Rib-eye steak, a wide selection of vegan food and much more than that. In restaurant Palatin, desserts have its own sweet magical story. Here you can find black chocolate magic, creamy rice with orange cream, homemade traditional "zagorski" cheese strudel, ice cream which is also only home- made creation, creme brulee and many others.
