“Beautiful view, good food and service”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 17, 2013 via mobile

Following Trip Advisor reviews we ventured up to Zlatne Gorice this evening. The sun was setting as we arrived, picture perfect!
We were promptly attended to, seated at a 'front row' table. Our waiter was courteous and very helpful. His recommendation for the house Cuvée was great as we're his helpful recommendations for our main meals. My pike fish meal was sensational.
For the short drive out of town, it is most defiantly worth the effort, you will be well rewarded with a beautiful view, and a fabulous dang experience.

“An excellent outing in the vineyards of Varazdin”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 24, 2013

Outstanding ambiance on top of a hill in the vineyards.Service is exemplary and the staff speak English.Try their horse radish soup.It is really very good. They have a variety of house wines and you can have your pick in both the red and the white variety.
Their meats are well cooked and fresh.Do not forget to have a pancake desert with walnuts.Strongly recommended.

“Beautiful view, excellent location, lovely nature, great local food, good service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 13, 2012

I have eaten at this restaurant numerous times. It was always a festive, family oriented occasion. The place has a lovely setting, surrounded by nature, views are stunning, food is always fresh and local, service is impeccable. Perfect for those who want more from home cooked cuisine in a lovely setting. A very friendly restaurant.

“Beautiful View and Excellent Service”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 25, 2012

I went with a large group so there was a set menu. Service was impeccable and the food was good. The meal started with beef barley soup that was very flavorful because there was a lot of barley in it. A very light and tasty cabbage slaw followed. The slaw had toasted pumpkin seeds as a garnish. The main course was duck loaf and potatoes. the potatoes were mixed with cream and nutmeg and had a wonderful subtle taste. We spent the whole meal trying to determine what spices were used and finally had to ask the chef. Dessert was a cake with mixed berry sauce. I liked it because it wasn't overly sweet and it was served warm. The restaurant is located in a vineyard and they say you can see three countires from its vantage point.
