Palace Stafileo Apartments

We had a wonderful 5 night experience at the Palace Stafilo Apartments. We took 2 apartments in the newer building (the apartments are split into 2 adjoining buildings- both have similar amenities but the newer ones were "fresher" and seemed a lillte larger).
Both apartments were unbelievably spotless and simply, but comfortably furnished, small but sufficient for our needs as we mainly came home to sleep. The location was fantastic, 2 mins. from the Main Square and Marina was lovely and a great help.

Trogir was a fabulous spot; we liked it better than Split. We did an amazing, although scary excursion trip.... quite strenuous, but our kids (9 and 12) thought they were Bear Grylls. (booked at the travel agent on the Riva ...)
We also did a great day trip to Krk Falls - well worth it - beautiful. We were blessed with good weather through the entire stay 3 weeks on Croatia... if anyone needs recommendations for accommodation in Hvar or Korcula PM me as we found fantastic accommodation there and loved both islands.

The contacts with Marina were efficient and clear. However when we arrived in Trogir it appeared that we booked a room in her palace, but were stowed away some 150 meters further in another building. Not nice at all – with a strong smell of smoke in the room and with an extremely disappointing atmosphere. We have told Marina that we did not like these manoeuvres – and she certainly tried to find a better solution for us. Alas – no good results. Marina is an enthousiastic entrepreneur we think. However: when you promise a room –make sure that you can deliver! We never saw your (own) rooms....

We found the Stafileo very nice. The room was spotlessly clean and nicely decorated. Marina was extremely helpful. The room was on the small side. But the view from our window and the central location was great. If we would go again I think though that we woudl choose a more spacious appartment on the mainland side of Trogir.

Stayed at Palace Stafileo for 1 night. Owners were lovely - very welcoming and helpful. A room was ready for us when we arrived early in morning. Owners were very kind to give us a late check out the next day as our flight was at night. Room was clean, bright and equipped with everything you need for a 1 night stay. Overall building was in good condition. Would stay again and would recommend.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights last Summer. Most of the hotels and apartments were already booked and I was lucky to get Palace's phone number from another hotel. We phoned to tell them we were checking in rather late and Marina was so kind as to give me her mobile number so I could call her when we get there. She met us at the bridge, already waiting for us while we were trying to park the car. She was extremely friendly. She showed us around the Palace and told us a brief history of Trogir and the story about Kairos (God of Opportunity and happy moment, which things are possible).
The apartments are ideally located in one of the narrow streets in the center of Trogir (I kept getting lost with my lousy orientation skills). They're clean, quiet and well equipped. There's air conditioning too, a must if you're there during the Summer when it can get extremely hot.
I woke up with a headache the morning after and my boyfriend went down to get some pills from the pharmacy. Marina and her father were so worried about my well being that they might have been actually suffering more headache than me with a cocktail hangover.
If you're going to Trogir by car, it may be a troublesome finding a parking place. Once you find it, and unless you plan a trip to Split or Zadar (two major nearby cities) just leave it there as everything is within a walking distance. And by no means cross the bridge to Ciovo island. In Summer, on weekends around the lunch time you may get stuck in traffic jam for hours.

It was our first holidays together, so this place holds sentimental value to us both, but it has in no way affected my opinion on this accommodation. I would definitely go back.

Very well located. In a renovated old building in the middle of the old town, in a quiet laneway. Make sure to get a map and direction, as it is quite easy to get lost in the narrow old laneways.

Room was well presented although small but well laid out. Small fridge and aircon. Comfortable bed
.
No breakfast, but nearby market is open until late, and there are plenty of restaurants.

No WiFi.

Palace Stafileo Apartments are located in the heart of the old town in a beautiful building which has been tastefully refurbished cozy and atmospheric. The rooms have modern facilities we had a nice view of the cathedral. There is a gorgeous little courtyard where you can relax for use of Stafileo guests. Marina and her father were wonderful hosts very thoughtful such attentitive service was one of the highlights of our holiday we will definately return.
