Stayed at Palace Stafileo for 1 night. Owners were lovely - very welcoming and helpful. A room was ready for us when we arrived early in morning. Owners were very kind to give us a late check out the next day as our flight was at night. Room was clean, bright and equipped with everything you need for a 1 night stay. Overall building was in good condition. Would stay again and would recommend.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights last Summer. Most of the hotels and apartments were already booked and I was lucky to get Palace's phone number from another hotel. We phoned to tell them we were checking in rather late and Marina was so kind as to give me her mobile number so I could call her when we get there. She met us at the bridge, already waiting for us while we were trying to park the car. She was extremely friendly. She showed us around the Palace and told us a brief history of Trogir and the story about Kairos (God of Opportunity and happy moment, which things are possible).
The apartments are ideally located in one of the narrow streets in the center of Trogir (I kept getting lost with my lousy orientation skills). They're clean, quiet and well equipped. There's air conditioning too, a must if you're there during the Summer when it can get extremely hot.
I woke up with a headache the morning after and my boyfriend went down to get some pills from the pharmacy. Marina and her father were so worried about my well being that they might have been actually suffering more headache than me with a cocktail hangover.
If you're going to Trogir by car, it may be a troublesome finding a parking place. Once you find it, and unless you plan a trip to Split or Zadar (two major nearby cities) just leave it there as everything is within a walking distance. And by no means cross the bridge to Ciovo island. In Summer, on weekends around the lunch time you may get stuck in traffic jam for hours.

It was our first holidays together, so this place holds sentimental value to us both, but it has in no way affected my opinion on this accommodation. I would definitely go back.

Very well located. In a renovated old building in the middle of the old town, in a quiet laneway. Make sure to get a map and direction, as it is quite easy to get lost in the narrow old laneways.

Room was well presented although small but well laid out. Small fridge and aircon. Comfortable bed
.
No breakfast, but nearby market is open until late, and there are plenty of restaurants.

No WiFi.

Palace Stafileo Apartments are located in the heart of the old town in a beautiful building which has been tastefully refurbished cozy and atmospheric. The rooms have modern facilities we had a nice view of the cathedral. There is a gorgeous little courtyard where you can relax for use of Stafileo guests. Marina and her father were wonderful hosts very thoughtful such attentitive service was one of the highlights of our holiday we will definately return.

Palace Stafileo is located in the centre of Trogir old town and is an excellent base for touring central Dalmatia. The rooms are beautifully converted and very clean and comfortable. This was a real find with parking included. Once you are on foot in the old town everything is accessible within a few minutes. As has been mentioned in previous reviews, the owners are charming hosts who are only too pleased to help you to make the most of this fantastic holiday destination. We normally stay in hotels and this had all the advantages of a hotel but with the opportunity to enjoy the excellent produce that you can buy in the amazing town market. Highly recommended!

We were looking for somewhere to stay in Trogir for one night whilst travelling in Dalmatia and found this on tripadvisor. We phoned to make a reservation and turned up the following day (meeting owner Tommy just outside the old town as arranged). Tommy let us have his car parking space just outside the old town free of charge and helped us carry our luggage to the apartments. On arrival, he plied us with dried figs, beer and cherry brandy along with a map of the town.

The apartment itself was small but well appointed. It had a really comfortable bed and was very clean. It was more than adequate for our purposes. Perfect for a short stay.

Whilst we didnt eat on the terrace, it was lovely, as is the building in which the apartment is located. The location of the apartments is perfect - right in the centre of the old town. The thick walls of the old building ensure that there is no noise however.

We arrived late at night but Marina's father was there in the market square to take us to the Palace: the room was absolutely fine, not huge but very clean: the patio downstairs is a lovely place to have breakfast. It is in the very heart of Trogir island, fabulous views from the windows, but unusually quiet. Marina was very helpful with advice on all things - including what to do about sea urchin spines in feet... and her father even took us to the airport when we left.
