“Great Unusual Carvings”
Reviewed July 4, 2014

I WISH TRIPADVISOR gave people the option to pick the exact time they have visited a place..... instead of locking one into the last 12 months. Some of us cannot get reviews out that quickly :-) That being said, we were there in July when Trogir is in full swing !
We stayed in a wonderful B&B literally under / next to this cathedral. We spent an hour visiting inside ( too crowded to stay longer) It has beautiful carvings and all the usual cathedral attractions, stained glass, beautiful lighting, saints, "famous" dead people buried, etc. BUT, please do not get me wrong, this is not to diss the cathedral and it is definitely worth visiting and enjoying. While cathedrals always share the same basic things ( like the saints, stained glass, carvings, etc) EACH one is unique in it's own way and has it own history and stories to tell. SO, even if one thinks one has "Been then Done that " as far as cathedrals in other countries, do not miss this one. We would have loved to climb the tower but it was too crowded to do so.

“Great views from the bell tower”
Reviewed July 3, 2014

We visited this Cathedral whilst in Trogir with a local guide who made the whole experience very interesting. The stonework around the main door is very intricate and extremely old. The Cathedral is beautiful and is full of history. My sister and I climbed the bell tower, from where the views are fantastic, we didn't go to the very top as we weren't brave enough. This Cathedral is well worth a visit. If you go on a guided tour of Trogir you will most likely be told the history of this beautiful Cathedral.

“Absolutely beautiful”
Reviewed July 3, 2014

I loved this gorgeous cathedral with its amazing sculptures and facade and I loved the walk up to the top of the bell tower even more. The view from up there is spectacular (but make sure you're not afraid of heights). You can walk right up to the bells at the very top, which is a really great experience, and not too tiring.
