This restaurant has an inside area and a walled patio garden, being situated in a narrow street at the old town area.
The service was efficient, fast but unhurried even though there was only one waiter working the area.
Its main point is that it is located away from the main tourist area where there is a row of restaurants on the ocean walkway. For that reason, Kamerlengo is more expensive for lunch that it would be in one of those large, noisy restaurants.
Our lunch consisted of two main entrées, a large bottle of water, couvert and tip (10%) coming to a total of 350 kunas, or approximately $70.00 for two, or $35.00 per person, which is a bit more than one normally pays for lunch.
We savoured the beef strogonoff made in the traditional way with pickles, accompanied by rice and a small salad. It was not spetacular, but it was not flawed either.
This restaurant is recommended because of its ambiance, service and acceptable cuisine.
