“Very convenient, good services near old town Trogir”
Reviewed September 17, 2013

My husband and I spent a single night at this hotel on Ciovo Island in Trogir, just across the causeway from old town Trogir. We would have preferred to be in the old town pedestrian area of Trogir, but this hotel was immediately adjacent to the ferry dock for the Split ferry, and thus was very convenient. The rooms were spacious, very clean, and had separate a sitting area with sofa, chairs, and desk. It also had a balcony, although with no view. There was a mini-bar with fridge that we found useful, and I appreciated having a full bath with tub, something rather rare in Croatia. The staff were most helpful and the breakfast, included in the price, was exceptional.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a good view from balcony! Ours had a view of another nearby building.

Great holiday location, food is first rate and price balanced and reasonable. Quality of finishing on everything from food to the accommodation is 5 star. Even the windows and doors are double glazed. Excellent location just a short walk to them own and restruants. Highly recommend this hotel. Only possible flaw is some rooms are setup for larger groups and don't therefore have ensuite directly attached but they all seem to have private bathrooms.

Stayed at this hotel as part of our Croatia tour, 2nd floor suite with huge balcony overlooking the sea/bay area. It was very spacious with a huge sitting room/two bedrooms, lovely modern bathroom with shower and bath tub, added bonus of a sauna! Few downsides: breakfast was pretty average/below average with no fresh juices or non-dairy alternatives for milk/coffee from machine was horrendous. They also couldn't allocate an iron for me so was left with crinkled tops, hotel is under airport flypath touch noisy at times (but only barely as windows are super good), its actually quite nice for a bit of plane spotting. I would defenitely stay here again as it is very central, 5mins and you reach a cobbled beach. Balcony in the evening was a delight.

Room Tip: Two bedroom suite with balcony to the sea was amazing.

This was a last minute booking and I was sorry we were not staying for more than a night. The hotel is modern, clean and extremely well staffed. The one receptionist went the extra mile by phoning and cancelling a room that booking.com had booked for us in Zdar by mistake. Another receptionist kept and returned intact a wallet we had left inadvertently in the room safe. The breakfast was very good, the bedroom, sitting room and bathroom were spacious and quiet. The hotel is on the island of Ciovo and an easy 10 minute walk to the old town. If you prefer to be out of the crowded and noisy walled city in a comfortable place then this hotel is good alternative.

Hotel Palace in Trogir is located just a few minutes walk from the old city. The hotel is very nice, the rooms are clean and quite spacy, they served a good breakfast, and the staff were very helpful.

We stayed at this hotel last week for our main holiday. We were stunned with our bedroom, sitting room, bathroom and balcony. The hotel was immaculate and the service excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed the choice of foods for breakfast and the staff were very helpful. Although the planes fly overhead to Split, they do not run during sleeping hours - we found the local church more annoying as they rung the bells from 7:00am! The hotel was ideally situated for the old town and the boats to Split. The only downside of the hotel were the towels - they were thin and very rough. I do think some newer towels or using more fabric conditioner would help! Otherwise a definite 5* rating!

Room Tip: Ask for one with a balcony.

We stayed here for less than 24 hours as part of a larger trip with VBT. Hotel was very clean. Rooms were very small but adequate. Could hear planes occasionally landing at Split airport. Short walk to Old Town Trogir. Breakfast was very good.
