Very new, very nice hotel, perfectly designed for families with smaller childern. But check-in and check-out is dreadfull. Waiting in line for 30 min is rediculos. Children are well taken care of - lots of play areas, inner pool with slide,.... Rooms and hotel surroundings are very nice as well. Staff friendly. Food - lots of choice and very good. Lunch and dinner do not come with drinks and are charged extra. Prices are much higher than one would expect. A 0,75L plain water bottle will cost you over 3,5€, Juice for children 0,2L = over 3,00 eur. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay and we will be back (out of high season). If you have small kids, this is the place to go.

Room Tip: Choose a room with a sea view - worth it!

Stayed here for a week with my hubby. We'd booked via Jet2com and got a good deal for full board. Unfortunately this hotel doesn't do 'All Inclusive' and you don't get drinks with your meals either, other than coffee and juice at brekkie. The hotel itself is absolutely wonderful and believe me, if you were a kid, you'd absolutely love it. The whole place is geared towards kids and they are priority. You name it, they have it. Climbing frames, bikes, scooters, go-karts, magic shows, kiddies films etc etc. The list goes on. However if you are just a couple like us, although the extensive grounds are beautiful and the gardens are superbly designed, there isn't a lot around. The hotel is quite isolated with not a lot to walk to, outside of it's grounds. As it only has a small bar area to sit in the evenings, this was often packed and you were unable to get a table to sit at and have a drink. And sadly, there was no entertainment for the adults in the evening either. They did have a DJ for 2 of the evenings we were there, but it was music that sounded more like backing tracks, rather than anything you knew. Fortunately the hotel had a daily shuttle bus that took you into the small harbour town of Rovinj (10 mins away by car) and this was a wonderful place to visit. Quaint harbour with nice little shops and café bars. Absolutely superb.
So if you have kids you will love this hotel and it is probably one of the best family hotels I know. However, if you do not have kids, then this hotel might not be for you. Did I enjoy it? Yes but I personally wouldn't chose to go there again, purely because of the lack of evening entertainment for adults and the fact that I'm used to going 'all inclusive' and I did feel the drinks were rather a lot dearer than I was expecting to pay. Approx £13 for their cheapest rose wine (which I know is similar to English prices) but bottled water was £2-£3 depending on the size of the bottle.
So on the whole, as a family hotel, this is brilliant and you couldn't want for better. If you're wanting a 'couples' hotel, then maybe this is not for you.

Check in was horrendous ,long queues then to be told room not ready so was sent for lunch then had to re queue again after lunch A trendy modern furnished hotel, every room has a sea view, great for family’s ....lots of spacious interesting garden areas which makes it a safe place to play in.. great games room ... indoor pool with slide ( outside one closed) food is delicious & plentiful ...lovely spa & children’s spa,we had a very chilled week .....most of the staff are nice & friendly but some looked like they didn’t want to be there... blonde lady on reception & girl in lobby bar (not naming names) ...perhaps because it’s coming to the end of the season! No excuse for bad manners though ! Not a couple hotel & children definitely come first... luckily we was at the tip of the hotel, with no through traffic but can imagine the noise of children running up & down the corridors being very disturbing in peak season...

Hotel has a lots of various activities for kids: the net playground, playroom for kids 1-3 years old and for kids 4-7 and for kids 8-12 years old. In tke kids zone the older kids (up from 7 years) can play in the room full of Playstations and X-Boxes...
The food is excellent, the room is modern and clean, the stuff is nice and friendly.
The only thing that suprised us is that ware't noticed that if you have a full board of meals on the first day we have to start with lunch. If we know that we wouldn't go to the lunch somewhere else. We asumed that we will start with dinner and on the last day we will finished with lunch. The confirmation of reservation on the Booking.com didn't say anything about meals on the chek-in day and on the chek-out day :(
