Once you've climbed the cobbled steps of the old town hill you will find the Cathedral.

Inside you will find a beautifully illuminated (by natural light) hall with ornate sculptures and carvings. Truly a beautiful sight.

Afterwards, and for 15 Kune, you can make the climb up the bell tower. I won't lie, the steps up aren't evenly spaced nor particularly even (Made out of split logs, and the boles are still there) and can be a testing climb for the less endeared to heights but the views from the tower are majestic, beautiful, and completely worth the 3 minutes of panic either side the viewing.

The walk up there is magnificent. There is all kinds of shops and places that you will have to spend some time in. The view from the hill is amazing. The cathedral is beautiful and the interior is something to have a look at.

Tis church is not only beautiful and has beautiful views, but it is a great reference point in the city. if you are attempting to give directions to someone, or receive directions, it is helpful to reference the church steeple since it is visible from every direction.

It was quite a climb up but felt uneasy coming down as the pavings were very shiny and slippy and I had trainers on
