Marinero is a wonderful restaurant in terms of scenery. The woodwork inside is impressively carved, really a piece of art. The food not quite like it: truffle tagliatelle too heavy with cream sauce, the fish tagliatelle not really good at all. As often in Rovinij, only strictly local food (=grilled fish or calamari) is worthy, any variation in other kind of cousines (italian, for example) have to be avoided. Mussels were good, as well as panna cotta. Our waiter was extremely kind.
