This hotel use to be 2 old homes - we had a room on one side and our friends on the other, so to go to their room meant down the stairs, through the lobby, up the stairs - quirky but doable! The rooms were smallish, but our bathroom was a good size and all the fittings were brand new. Breakfast was served on the outdoor terrace - beautiful outdoor furniture and nicely maintained plantings make it an ideal place to eat, nap, read a book or have an evening glass of wine. The staff were friendly and very knowledgeable. The front lobby has a small bar on one side across from the very small check in counter, and a largish sitting room on the other side where you can enjoy drinks, or a selection from a very interesting tea menu.
Hotel location is very good - close enough to the main square in the old town that it is easily walkable, but not so close that you have any noise. In the morning we had to catch an early ferry so they arranged for a bagged breakfast to be waiting for us, made us espressos at the bar then had their golf cart take us and our luggage directly to the ferry.
All in all very good value for the money. Would happily stay there again!More
