We stayed here for a week and were so happy. The breakfast is included and is a huge buffet with anything you desire including made to order omelettes ,bacon , grilled veg, fruit and much much more.

The hotel is on the water and walking distance to everything. We took a boat to Venice which was a 5 min walk from the hotel. You can rent bikes in front or hire a boat to the islands. Lots of good restaurants in the area. The only thing I would suggest is free wifi or free use of the 2 computers they have in the lobby.

Just come back from a week in this deilighful town. This hotel is ideally placed for walking into the old town where there are plenty of restaurants and sights to see. The hotel is a bit out dated now and needs refurbrishing throughout although they have tried to raise the standard of the reception area. However the rooms are very old fashioned and the one we were in was very small. The television set was archaic and the only programs available in English were the news channels. We did not visit the restaurant as we like tryng new places to eat every night but the restuarant overlooks the small harbour and it is a vey pretty outlook. The hotel has two pools - one inside and one outside but when we visited in early June there were not enough sunbeds and parasols available at the outdoor pool. They also have a sauna which they charge for (50 kunas each visit) ie about £6. The hotels own snack bar below Strudago is very pleasant and sells pots of tea and cakes and the waiters are charming and helpful. Overall thoroughily enjoyed our visit but will maybe think about a hotel further out to get a more comfortable modern room,

Room Tip: You must choose a sea view room - it is well worth the extra charge for the magnific

I have been traveling to Rovinj on business more than a dozen times since 2007 and have stayed in several hotels there. My favorite is the Hotel Park. Although it is a 3 star hotel, it is nevertheless a great place to stay. This month I took my family there, as we were visiting Austria and I wanted to show them beautiful Rovinj. The Park has the best view of the gorgeous old town and harbor. Even the 4 and 5 stars hotels do not have the view from the Park. It is also an easy walk to downtown and the old town and many good restaurants. The rooms are always immaculate, although 3 star size. It has every amenity one could want. The staff is really great; anxious to take care of any need. Especially, a man called Esef who works in the dining room. Esef has personally provided me with service that would be expected for a celebrity.

The hotel is located a ten minute walk from the town centre.

The bedrooms are of adequate size, clean, good wardrobe space, fridge, and a satisfactory bathroom with shower above the bath. We had a partial sea view room and it was well worth the extra money. The room was cleaned daily and new towels provided. My wife and I found the beds to be very comfortable.

Meals are buffet style and offer a wide range of hot and cold food items. The dining area is airey, bright, clean and welcoming.

We found the staff members throughout the hotel to be friendly, approachable and with a good sense of humour. The reception team were knowledgable and had a good command of english.
At one point we found the air conditioning not to be working. Within 20 minutes of reporting it the problem was resolved.

A bank of safety deposit boxes are sited near to the reception point. These were not easily overlooked, therefore secure, and are available at a daily charge of 7 kunas.

The hotel has two pools, one outside and the second inside. Both pools have sun loungers around them. We have always, on each of our three stays, found there to be an adequate supply of sun loungers and parasels. To the rear of the hotel there is a debit card cash point, small supermarket and a walk which takes in woodland and the coast line. Bikes can be hired if required and there is a refreshment kiosk with toilets one mile along the route.

We went on two excursions. One to the Istrian hill tops and the second to Lake Bled. We enjoyed both, particularly the latter. Bled church is approached in gondolier type boats. There are, however, 90 plus steps leading up to the church and anyone with a walking difficulty might find this too much. The beauty of the church is well worth the climb. A horse and carriage ride around the village is on offer and well worth the 12.5 euros person charge, if five share a carriage. Avoid at all cost the suggested lunch offered by the guide. The service is incredibly slow, the meal consists of a mixed salad and a few compressed cube size pieces of chicken, for which each person is charged 10 euros. The restaurant staff don't seem to care. There are
other food outlets providing much better value.

We enjoyed our stay and hope to return sometime in the future. Upon entering the hotel one immediately feels relaxed.

Room Tip: Get a limited sea view room

stayed at this hotel 2nd week in May 2013. When we arrived the reception staff were really friendly and check in was really quick. On arrival in our room I was glad we did not pay to upgrade to a sea view room as the view from our side sea room was good and over the marina.
The room was very clean . The restaurant was very clean and bright and airy and the selection of food was good. My husband and I were surprised to see vegetables on the breakfast menu but there was plenty of other choices with eggs being cooked freshley throughout the breakfast period.
The indoor pool was good if not a little cold but I was able to swim most days as you could chose the best time when it was quiet. The entertainment was a little sparce even though it was the second week of the season and the staff in the pizzaria were not very friendly or helpful.Overall our stay was good and the views over Rovinj are stunning especially at sunset.

Was truly surprised at how rude some of the staff were and how below average it felt for a 3-star hotel. My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights with our 10-month old son. We booked through Expedia, and in our notes we said we'd have our 10-month old son with us. The hotel apparently didn't get the memo. The room we ended up with, after quite a process, was barely big enough. It had air-conditioning that didn't work, and when we left the balcony door open overnight, we discovered we had a good number of ants in our room the next morning-- four or five in our son's crib alone.
When we first discovered that the air-conditioning wasn't working that first night, I asked if we could switch rooms or get a discounted rate. I was given the keys to 2 rooms that I was asked to check out myself and was told "things happen." We never received a discount, and the man I talked to behind the desk didn't seem to be bothered at all that we were bothered with our accommodations.
Also, when taking advantage of the buffet dinner we paid for, we encountered a completely unfriendly-- almost resentful-- waitress who said they didn't have tap water only after she ignored 2 requests for water from my wife. We also seemed to get a lot of negative attention from some of the older guests-- some of whom stared us down as if we were lepers in a beauty contest.
I guess the rudeness and disinterest would've been understandable-- if not tolerable-- if the accommodations were of a higher quality, but we've stayed in comparable quality hotels (in Europe) for much less money.
To be fair, the view of Rovinj's Old Town from the hotel grounds was fantastic, and the hotel was only about a 10 minute walk to all the attractions. Also, the pool on sight was a plus, but the customer service and quality of the room itself ruined it for us.

Booked this 3 star hotel and loved every minute there.
Ok, the beds are a bit knackerd, but every thing else was great.
There is a indoor and outdoor swimming pool and we had a fantastic view over Rovinj from our balcony.

But the best thing of the hotel is the very friendly staff.
Every single one of them, from reception, breakfast till housekeeping, everybody here is friendly and helpful.
We checked in at night and it was no problem, neither was f.i. cleaning baby bottles.

No doubt i will come back to this hotel, but it has to be soon, as I understand over 3 years the place will be taken down to built a new hotel.
I can only hope they will bring in the same staff again, it would be a disgrace if they dont.

Room Tip: It is absolutely worth booking a room with a view over Rovinj, so the sea side.
