Stayed at the resort Amarin for one week from 17th Aug.
Overall impressions is that this is not a 4 star resort as advertised, much more like an average 3 star. Quite pricey for what we got.
Good things. Near the beach, 2 swimming pools, mini club. Bad things room was ok but nothing to do with the pictures advertised, (much smaller) Finishes were not great. Door handle on toilet broken, Sink tap loose, signs of previous damp in the room, poor TV picture. Reported these problems and someone did come to have a look, but nothing was done.
The restaurant is modern in appearance but the food served is very average and not value for money. Go downstairs for a pizza or alternatively head to Rovinj town where there is much better choice of quality or decent affordable food.
My advise would be to try and rent your own apartment or if you can afford, pay a bit more and get a proper 4 star service.
