My wife and I heard about this restaurant in gorgeous Rovinj/Rovigno from the owner of Valle Losco from Volosko near Opatija. This place is a nice small establishment that offers mainly fish and seafood. The service is nice and attentive, FULLY fluent in Italian and Croatian. Bus boys should be a bit less rough around the edges, but our waiter was great. We had baccala mantecato a bianco, gamberetti di forno and some gratinated scallops. Baccala could be smoother in taste and texture, we have seen bigger scallops but gamberetti were excellent. Our main course was a San Pierro fish grilled to perfection. Accompanying greens with boiled potatoes should be less powerful (cut down on pre-made MSG-rich seasoning). We finished our meal with a selection of their desserts oh which milefoglie and chocolate cake were the best. For drinks we started with two glasses of sparkling wine and continued with local Malvasia Grotto. Finally, the house offered a shot of local sweet liquor called "biska". We would visit this lace again, but not go out of our way to do so.
