“Refreshing holiday in the sun - the real and imaginary as well”
Reviewed July 17, 2012

5 rooms, 40 minutes, 60 m in depth, temperature around 14 ° C, slippery and steep stairs. Yes, there are many larger and more beautiful stalactite caves, but this is 5 minutes drive from the seaside resort and offers a pleasant change during the hot days. Nice and equipped area, close to the local collection of tractors.

“Baredine well worth the lack of breath after!!”
Reviewed September 30, 2011

67 metres down through 5 rooms of underground caves offering some amazing sights and memories. Be prepared for a long hard slog back to the surface! The caves are not very well advertised and finding a tour is difficult, we went with a personal guide for a very reasonable price.

“Fantastic, well worth a visit but quite a walk.”
Reviewed May 2, 2011

I would recommend a visit to the Baredine cave, it is beautiful and offers some relief from the mid day sun. Beware though it is a difficult and steep walk up, i wouldnt take a toddler as they would need carrying.
