This hotel was supposed to be a ''three star'' - I would actually call it a good four star. I was impressed. Let me tell you why...
We arrived in Hotel late in the evening local time - 10.30pm. We had come in from Dublin via Aer Lingus to Pula Airport (very efficient) and the hotel had very nicely kept the kitchen open beyond the normal 9pm close so we could have our evening meal. Nice touch.
Room was very clean, with a comfortable double bed. Decor was a little tired but no matter, it is only somewhere to throw you head.
What I was not expecting though was that the sheets and towels were changed EVERY day, even though I never asked for it. The attention to detail of the staff is exemplary.
No fridge in room, but it could be requested if required. They are very energy aware.
Showers powerful and strong.
Excellent coffee in the breakfast room.
Local beer (Lowenbrau - excellent) and Red & White wine on tap complimentary of hotel in dining room from 6.30 to 9pm in hotel dining room. Good local wines - Red full bodied, white sharp and dry.
All in all, a nice place to stay, and I would stay here again.More
