We stayed in this hotel for 7 nights in August. What a beautiful place :-)
The room was big enough & had a balcony (be sure to request a balcony) overlooking the gardens which was much cooler by afternoon.
This was our second time in Croatia having previously stayed in Cavtat & although this wasn't as chilled a holiday you could find peace or hectic depending on your mood.
Yes the pool sunbeds were all taken by 7.00am but if you can't beat them join them & we've always been early risers!
The Animation team did a brilliant job of entertaining the guests, in fact every member of staff were pleasant & polite.
A short stroll and you were at bars & restaurants and a lovely little market. A quick recommendation to the cocktails in Caffe Aurora - wow ;-)
The only drawback to this hotel was the food. We found it bland & repetitive but in all fairness I think we were the only English speaking guests so of course they cater to the majority. We didn't starve!! We did however feel ignorant culturally as many nationalities communicated in English and we only knew a few words of German & Croatian!!
We will definitely be back to Croatia, I can't emphasise enough what a lovely country it is.
