Nice hotel. Very interesting and old fashion style.
Breakfast was quite simple but inside of what we expected. The staff was very attentive and nice.
If you want to visit the National Park, this is a very good option to stay.

Hotel is old but well maintained. Food was very good - ample buffet All in all a very peasant way to end a long day that had started in Sarajevo ending with a wonderful tour of the national park. Buffet breakfast was very good too.

Now this isnt so much luxury but it couldn't be better placed if you wanted to visit Plitvice National Park, a 2 minute walk down the path and you are there. The food was lovely in the A'La Carte resturant, there's a small shop in the hotel to get your basic souviners and snacks but they don't sell drinks so you are forced to use the mini fridge in your room. The hotel is quite dingy especially if you are looking for the spa, its not lit well nor modern. The rooms are a good size for a few days stay, the bathroom could do with updating. We tried to use the bowling alley but we were greeted to some locals who weren't very welcoming, there's 2 lanes and looks more like a seedy British pub than a bowling alley, but if your sole purpose is the Lakes then there's no need to use it.

As part of a bus tour of 44 people, we were here for only 1 night, but we were happy with everything. Our room was a suite (we lucked out there!), and were sad to leave it after only 1 night! No, it's not modern, but when it's clean and tidy and friendly, I don't care!
The buffet breakfast met all our needs and more. The staff were friendly, and everyone spoke and smiled. We tried our Croatian hello's and they answered in English!
Yes, a good location to an amazing park with lots of trails to enjoy.

While this is not a new, modern hotel, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Yes, there were some inconveniences, but overall it was comfortable, clean, with a very accommodating staff. Our room had a balcony that overlooked the forest. As the weather was very nice the end of September, we enjoyed a glass of wine while sitting on the balcony. Not all rooms have a balcony, so I would request one if any are available. You couldn't ask for a better location. You just walk down some stairs through a park-like setting of the hotel and there you are at an entrance to the lakes. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
