Most of the guests appear to be busloads of tourists, so this is a busy hotel. The rooms are small, the beds uncomfortable, and the bathroom is very small. There is no room safe or A/C. We did have a small balcony. The rooms have heavy, old-fashioned keys are are difficult to work. There is Internet in the lobby only, and it was extremely slow. Dinner was so-so and the breakfast buffet was pretty bad. The selection was quite limited - the rolls tasted as if they had been frozen and thawed and there was no bread or toaster. The best thing I can say is that it is a short walk to the entrance of a really lovely park.

This is a very good, no frills hotel 200 m away from one of the entrances to the Plitvice lakes. The staff is very forthcoming and professional, both at the reception and in the hotel restaurant. Rooms are of average size and very clean with comfortable beds. The only downside is very poor sound insulation in the hotel, so one can easily hear one's neighbours and cleaning staff. Also, if your room is overlooking the hotel entrance, the guests smoking in front of it will definitely keep you awake. Still, I have to say that this problem was taken care of once we complained at the reception.

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the hotel entrance and the parking lot are very noisy. Make sure you choose a room...

This hotel is a short walk from the lakes and positioned in the Park. You cannot stay any closer to the lakes. By staying here you have greater access.
We had a package which included Breakfast and dinner. Not the best meals I have eaten, but adequate. The rooms were huge. We were very comfortable. There is a health club here but we did not have time to use it. I was taken on a tour and they were reasonable impressive. I would recommend staying here.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the park, otherwise you will be looking over the carpark.

The hotel is the closest hotel to the lakes and boats in the park. That in itself is worth the price of admission. Nothing outstanding, but everything more than adequate. Reminded me of a typical national park hotel in the United States--wooden, rustic, and crowded. But crowds were never a negative factor.

We were there for only one night, and our requests to the staff were minimal. I don't recall even asking a question or seeking any help except to ask were to mail some postcards. The hotel had two computer terminals, which were free to guests, so there were some waits to use them, but that was hardly serious our consequential.

Buffet breakfasts was tasty and plentiful.

It's difficult to suggest whether or not this is the better of the three or four Plitivice Park hotels, but one does not, I think, pursue big-city luxury in the park, and anybody will find the hotel meeting holiday needs.

Beds were comfortable, but only one luggage stand was an inconvenience.

The hotel is very nice, it is very cottage-like and rustic, which suits the surroundings.
The rooms are enormous, it's almost like a little apartment.
The hotel is not the prettiest, but if you step outside those doors, it is priceless.
The location is amazing, and right by the park, very convenient.
The walk through the park is priceless and an amazing experience.
There is no air-conditioning, which was fine for us, since it was fairly cold when we were there, but I can imagine it becomes a problem in summer.
The staff was very friendly, and the entire hotel has a very welcoming atmosphere.

This is THE place you should book in for the Plitvice trek, lake viewing or boat rides, not to say others are not good because I have not experienced them but Hotel Jezero is right where the trek starts and where it ends..so you just walk into the hotel after a long tiring and satisfying day on the outdoors.
If you reach the hotel hours before their 2 pm check-in, they store the luggage for you till the rooms are done and ready. The rooms are a little small but what they lack in size they make up for in view they offer! We had booked 2 double bedrooms next to each other since we had our teen twin daughters with us.
Loved their a la carte evening dinner with live music. Just splendid - the ambiance and the whole experience. Breakfast buffet had a few selected items but in good quantity..a large breakfast area with a beautiful view of the outdoors - hills and trees.
Buses and taxis to the right bus stations are easily available through the hotel.

This hotel is right on the edge of the Pitvice Lakes National Park and you can just walk right into the park - so the setting is brilliant.
The rooms are quite small, but adequate and it was useful to have a fridge. However, we were there during a heat wave and there is no air-conditioning in the rooms so we were extremely hot at night.
Wi-Fi is only available at reception and not in the rooms.
