This as the second time we spent our holiday in Zaton. There was no surprise for us, that the service and the environment is really perfect. Nice and clean room (apartment 2+1****), beautiful parks, cool swimming pool, big sendy beach, good programs, a lot of play equipments for children. I think Zaton is a very family frend place. This was a good place to stay, with plenty of restaurant choices, ample parking, supermarket, organised entertainment if wanted & a sand beach (very rare in Croatia).
The online package we got included breakfast for only a few Euros each, very good buffet selection & spotless restaurant - bargain! We also got free sunbed use included, very useful on the beach.
The staff all spoke fluent English (as most Croatians seem to) & were helpful with everything we asked them for.
The only downside was the dark, cramped apartment with little daylight, We would upgrade this if we go back again (which we would) It seems from the other reviews that the new ones are nicer, however they are the first section - near the bars, restaurants etc & not as shadey as the older apartments.

As you probably know we offer 3* and 4* apartments. Nearly half of our 4* apartments are brand new (constructed in 2013) while the other half is only few years old.
We would recommend you to try our 4* apartments next time you visit us.

Early sommer holiday in Zaton resort with family (two adults and 2y boy).
Appartement a bit small but cosy.
Resort really nice equiped, especialy for families with small children.
Only bad point was that both weekend some parties arived and it was quite noisy during the weekend nights/early mornings.
We had the feeling we have been the first guests in that brand new apartment, it was perfect. Unfortunately we had terrible weather, but of course it is not in the scope. The hotel made its best to pass the rainy days in comfort.
The weather was a problem for half of our week's stay, but the resort has a lot that is excellent. The location with its private beach, the friendliness of most staff, the variety of catering, the bulk wine, the car-free areas, the trees... We had a three star apartment, and it seems there is little incentive for these to be improved! We echo other negative comments about them:
1. The bed is a sofa, even though one would never use it as such. It is very hard!
2. The WiFi is not free as advertised, and it did not reach our row of apartments
and although we barely had beach weather we did remark that the sunbed situation is a complete rip-off!
We would still come again, but they win because we would probably want a 4* apartment!
We stayed there from 17th to 30st May in a brand new built appartement and it was super.
Those appartements have all you need to make your stay relaxing and beautiful.
We do hope that all the people coming after us, take good care of those app. so we'll find them in good condition when we return!!!
The site is beautiful and well taken care of, the pool was warm (heated?)
The beach is very nice, all in one there is nothing to complaine.
The weather was somehow crazy, but still we will return to that resort.
