Just spent a week at Hotel Liburna. The room (superior twin) was clean and comfortable, with decent twin beds, excellent air conditioning and modern bathroom.
The balcony overlooked the car park and tennis courts, but there was a partial sea view which was a nice surprise.
The food in the hotel was of a reasonable standard, I personally preferred the choice at breakfast to the evening meal. The restaurant has fantastic views across the bay to Korcula town.
The hotel in general felt modern with air conditioning throughout and 2 lifts.
It takes about 10-15 minutes to stroll into the town.

A couple of points to note:

If you're a tea lover, take your own tea bags as they kept running out of breakfast/black tea.

Also, the butter ran out several times, so grab it when you see it.

There was little entertainment in the hotel, but there is plenty going on in the town at night if that's your thing.

Anyway, we had a fantastic relaxing holiday, and would recommend this hotel.

I was here for a week, the hotel was exceptionally clean as was my bedroom. The staff were very helpful when ever I needed them. The selection of food at breakfast, which was the only meal I had during the week. Other meals were available. Location to the town was a slow walk taking about 15minutes.
While the hotel was good in my opinion it would not be suitable for people with a limited mobility especially if like me they were in room 300+. While the lift is accessible throughout the hotel there were steps to these rooms.
The sea water pool was a good size, management really do need to consider some form of bedding as the beds were extremely hard. Tea making facility in the bedrooms would be an added bonus.
Don't unless you want to be charged 30kn a day use the beds from the hotel on the concrete outside the gardens, this includes hotel guests.
A lovely holiday in a good hotel. However if you go with Thompson don't expect a representative I travelled on a Sunday the rep put the group on the coach and stayed in Dubrovnik. He was due on the island on Friday unfortunately he had a crisis. We had to wait until late Saturday to get information and ask the hotel staff.
Good holiday spoilt with no support from the holiday company.

A recent renovation has updated the facility nicely, but the benefit of the remodeling is lost in poor service.

The staff is rather transaction oriented. When I asked for a simple accommodation (a room with the promised view and wifi that worked) I was shuffled around on three separate occasions with "I'll ask my boss" until finally getting nowhere and giving up.

Hotel selections in Korcula are limited, you are better off with a smaller boutique hotel where the staff is more attentive.

The difference between a place to park your luggage and a great hotel is a staff that pays attention to the details. A lesson this hotel has yet to learn.

Stayed here for the 2nd time, first time was in 2012. Had a sea view junior suite for me, my wife and a 4 and 5 year old. It had a downstairs sofa bed which was amazing and a small bathroom and balcony overlooking the sea and old town. Upstairs had a bigger bathroom and two single beds and another balcony overlooking the car park so you got sun all day. The hotel has been extensively modernised and looks great. The staff were great particularly Aleksandra on reception who was amazing and Majeda in the restaurant who was so kind.
We went half board which works well for the kids as each evening they found something like pizza, chicken, pasta, meatballs, potatoes etc that they could eat plus endless supplies of fruit and ice cream. This also worked out well as Croatian prices have roughly tripled in 3 years so meals out were on a par with U.K. prices. Beers were 25-30 kuna, main courses were 170-350 kuna! Thankfully coffee was around 12-14 kuna and ice creams 10 kuna.
The pool was great, sea water and all one depth which was fine as my kids can both swim. You also get the use of the nearby Marco Polo pools which are more suited for younger kids but less shaded.
You can do lots of trips which we did last time but this was a much needed 9 day rest.
The only minor suggestion I would make is to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room and also tea or coffee after the evening meal which rounds a meal off.
We will stay there again, thanks to all staff for an amazing, relaxing break.

Coming from Hvar to Korcula was a bit of a shock first of all, the pool area is so quiet and very bare but still nice.
The hotel feels new, has great air con and is perfectly placed for town, just 5 minutes along the waterfront and you are at places to eat and drink including one of the few places do do snacks like panini's for that lunchtime need.
Our room was spacious and the bathroom lovely
Constructive criticism to improve this hotel would be to have staff on site at the pool. There is a bar open but its far away and inside so very few people drank around the pool, they are missing a trick there, people would buy drinks. Those that did would have their glasses left there at 7pm, no-one comes around at all. there is an outside bar with lovely seats but with no umbrellas, no-one goes there in the daytime. The bar inside doesn't feel welcoming, it has nice furniture but just doesn't tempt you, it feels more like an airport lounge.
The sunbeds are clearly not cheap, they are solid but are so hard, they really are not comfortable and the brolley's were often flying away as they were flimsy.
All in all very nice though

Room tip: Balconys are nice and get the sun if you have sea view, otherwise its a car park view
