Before arriving in Hvar, the staff was very good about giving me directions from the bus station and port without me even asking. The room I got was huge, it was actually a two bedroom 1.5 bath, so you could easily sleep three or four in there without any issues. Breakfast was also solid with various cold meats, breads, and cheeses.

The location was a five minute walk to the main area of the island (the harbor). My only complaint is the bathroom had a weird smell coming from it, but I feel like that's common with hotels on islands. I recommend this hotel without hesitation if you're going to be in Hvar.

Great hotel centrally located in old town of Hvar about 50 m from town square.
Spacious rooms which is a big plus
Very helpful staff who assisted with information on transfers to and from Hvar and even helped with luggage to the room, as well as to the wharf on our departure.
Can be a bit noisy from nearby restaurants but not a problem if you keep windows and shutters
closed.
Only negative - shower cubicle is surprisingly small even though the bathroom is large enough to accommodate a bigger cubicle

When you like a quiet evening this is not the place for you. If however you enjoy a quaint neighborhood with a great atmosphere, comfortable rooms and friendly service, we can highly recommend the Villa Nora. The location is hard to beat, it is right in the old town.

This is a very centrally located B&B with large, clear, comfortable rooms. The staff are attentive and friendly. The breakfast was included and very good...not the usual ready mix scrambled eggs if you know what I mean.

The drawbacks are that it's a bit pricey and due to its central location and the area being noisy it can be difficult to sleep. There is a restaurant below that has a band playing outdoors on the terrace until late, so if you're an early to bed type of person you will not be happy here.

Room Tip: Ask for the top floor. I'm not sure if there is a room that is not above the band playing in the...

Villa Nora hotel also rents out an apartment two blocks up from the hotel, this review is of that apartment as it is a part of the hotel.

The apartment has two bedrooms and a living room, so plenty of space. It's up the hill and it's about a minute's walk down to the main square, but it's just far enough form the restaraunts and bars located on the sidestreets that it's totally quiet. You only hear the people walking past the apartment and some chatter, but that was fine. The location is absolutely superb, the cobblestone streets look beautiful and the area is really serene and relaxing. Check the photos!

We paid 100 euro a day which considering Hvar and the apartment, was a great deal. There's plenty of space, a well set up kitchen and also an kay bathroom. The bed's were excellent and there's plenty of storage space for your stuff if you plan for a longer stay.

There's no wifi, but you can walk down a few steps to the hotel's lobby and use the free wifi there. The only problem was that there was no air conditioning, which we really missed, but they are apparently going to install AC after this summer. I hope so.

Other than that, I cannot recommend this apartment highly enough. Superb location, looks and feels great, cheap and Hvar is an absolutely awesome place.
