Hvar island is stunning. Villa Nora is right in the centre of he old town, which has it's obvious benefits, but drawbacks too.
The hotel itself is gorgeous, very old and well maintained. The room decor wasn't to my taste... They do seem to have tried to modernise inside, but it ends up taking some of the character away and looking a bit dated. However, extremely clean, large rooms and ours had a nice little terrace. Breakfast was superb. How much do they ink we can eat?! Fresh bread, cheese, ham, fruit etc. The staff are pretty friendly and speak good English. The only drawback with being right in the old town, is that it can be noisy at night. The streets are tiny and it's a holiday island that doesn't close early.
Definitely recommended though.More
