We moored our yacht in the protected bay and were met on shore by the Kordic family with a very warm welcome and a cup of Turkish coffee. The rustic restaurant is located near a pebble beach and the ruins of a 14 th century monastery. The family provided us with a delicious meal of freshly caught fish and vegetables from their garden and wine from their cellar - finishing with pancakes and grappa. The fish was grilled in the outdoor oven and in the morning the cooked is a fresh loaf of bread to take away on our boat. This was a memorable experience to be in an isolated and peaceful cove away from the bustle of the busy Croatian resorts.
