Stayed here June 2013 and paid extra for a gorgeous view of the sea. It's a short walk of about 10 mins to the town centre on the coastal path or go the other direction for sunset viewpoints and beach cafes. Room was a decent size, not spacious but enough room to relax and enjoy and the mini bar wasn't too pricey! The breakfast had something for everyone with good service. There was a beach diner with decent well priced food and the restaurant all you can eat buffet for 145kn or €19 each was AMAZING! We ate there twice. Gym was brilliant, again, something for everyone with loads of room so take a fitness DVD to do on the balcony or dumbbells, bench press, machine weights, a cross trainer, bike and treadmill, mats, balls etc.
So easy to get around from the hotel and internally had no complaints, they take your bags to the ferry the day of your boat so you can walk round to the port, when you get there though you will probably have to pay for a taxi to get you to the hotel as its not easy to pull suitcases along the coast path. Take a warm ish layer for your walk back to the hotel after drinks in the town!
Loved it, and if you are willing to do Hvar without too much worry about budget, this is great!More
