“Tourist trap with a nice view”

The food is okay, but really to expensive, a typical tourist trap. But it is hard to avoid them on the Croatian coast.

“Pretty good”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 19, 2012 via mobile

We enjoyed our meal here having picked a seafood platter plate for two. The seafood had a great flavor as well as the side dishes we had to go along with our main. We paid $110AUD for a seafood platter, 3 beers, 2 starters, 2 side dishes and 2 coffees. Not a bad price. Enjoyed the food and were pleasantly suprised.

“touristic trap”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 25, 2012

We went to reserve a table for 2 and the lady, owner of the restauran greeted us nicely, giving lots of insights about their great house wine, how their family harvest their own grapes, blah blah, all te story was pleasant but a bit pushed, gave me the idea that she repeated the karma thousand of times. Result: we took a liter of their white house wine and it was real crap... Watery, disgusting... When we pointed it out to the lady she waslike... Ooopss ok lets take it away.. Nomshalantly, as if she was ready to hear that... As if she knowa that not all tourists are fools and someone can object... In thise cases she was ready to replace it, of course we had to take a closed bottle of sant klement which was more expensive than in other better quality/price restaurant, like Luna and Divino.

Food, nothing special , fresh fish, pricy for what is it offered though.

Service clumsy, the waitress poured the wine as if it was beer...

“Excellent Food, Good Prices, Friendly Service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 17, 2011

We walked from the Amfora hotel along the water side looking for a restaurant. We found a string of restaurants as we entered town. Initially, they appeared to be one large restaurant, but upon closer observation we could see that there were 3 or 4 patios that were connected. After checking the menus and talking to the helpful and charming lady standing at one patio entrance, we decided to eat at the Dva Ribara. The service was very good. Ms. Katarina Novak, who we assumed was the owner, was very friendly and helpful regarding the menu and how the food was prepared. We enjoyed a delicious dinner, overlooking the marina. The setting was beautiful, food was great and so were the prices. What more could you want?
