The restaurant in the Palmizana marina is in a lovely setting but our 10 minute walk to the south side of the island was rewarded by a magnificent meal seated on a palm tree terrace overlooking a beautiful bay. In the dark the masthead lights of the boats anchored in the bay looked like a display of planets.
The food is more complex than served in most Croatian restaurants - more nouveau cuisine with attention to complementary flavours and presentation. Not cheap but good value and service. You would pay a lot more in the UK but without the amazing location and balmy evening.
