My wife and I tied the knot in Cavtat in June and after visiting Dubrovnik we wanted a quiet hideaway. Look no further that guesthouse Pauline in Hvar Town. From our first email with Luka & Petra we knew that we had chosen the right place. They are there to help you have a wonderful holiday. Luka will meet you at the ferry point and help you with you bags and then Petra will pour you some freshly squeezed lemonade when you arrive.
Luka & Petra will go out of there way to help you and make you stay in Hvar a pleasant one. They even took us out to a restaurant in one of the old abandoned villages where we sampled some of the traditional food, Peca. They had even left us some chocolates and wine in our bedroom upon arrival.
Guesthouse Paulina has a very homely feel to it and is excellent value for money. The room that we stayed in had a balcony overlooking Hvar.
Hvar Town itself was idilic for us and the temperature in June ranging from 24 - 32 degrees just right. Hvar may have a reputation for a party town but this is not Corfu! Party in a totally different way. It is well worth a visit and has a bit of everything for all types of people.
Thank you Guesthouse Paulina and Luka & Petra.More
