Certificate of Excellence

Right next door to the church and helps understanding of bygone days. A typical Croatian house of the period, well preserved and presented. We liked it all.

The house is up a steep side street off the sea front but well worth seeking out.It is fascinating to learn about one of Croatia,s most famous artists and to see many examples of his work

Had never heard of Bukovac but loved this small house with various works on display as well as original furnishings and interiors - well worth a visit if you're in Cavtat. Check out the spooky disembodied heads of Bukovac's family - his most effective and affective work

Well worth a visit to see some of Bukovacs works and the wall paintings he decorated the house with in his youth. We were left to wander at our leisure but the young lady on duty at the time was very well informed and able to answer the questions we had at the end of our visit.
