We’ve been coming to Bol and to Bolero’s, the cocktail bar attached to the Elaphusa hotel, for 14 years. Today whilst we drank our cocktails we were twice requested for our children, aged 3 and 8, to take their feet off the cushions. We were sitting outdoors, our children were sat quietly, their feet a little dusty from the beach but nothing more. We explained that this made us feel very unwelcome but got no response. We left very disappointed and feeling unable to return. There is no point in having shiny new blue cushions if you have no customers to sit on them. At this time of year there are plenty of other cocktail bars in Bol and they can have our money next time.

We returned to this hotel after we visited it as a couple last year, this time with our five year old. We all enjoyed our stay very much. Our daughter particularly liked the pool (w/sea water), aqua gym and children activities - mini disco and mini musical performance. The children entertainment team was fantastic (it was provided in Croatian and French), especially Karolina and Amela. The hotel itself is spacious, rooms are very clean and the staff very professional and nice - our house keeper, Ms Danica, was particularly attentive. Wellness is beautiful and they offer high-quality treatments. Outside of the hotel, under the pine trees, there is a children playground with trampoline, inflatable castle, small cars and bungee trampolines. There is a nice cafe with adjacent playground and an ice-cream stand, so there is a range of different places and activities for children, in addition to the pool and beach. We highly recommend the hotel and Bol in general for a family holiday.

Initially I was a little disappointed with our room as it didn't have a balcony, which wasn't stated clearly when I booked. The rooms are a little dated, but are clean and beds are comfortable. The pool area in contrast was nicer than it looked on the photos, and there were plenty of loungers. Entertainment was ongoing around the pool, but very much aimed at the French visitors. It wasn't loud or annoying though. Breakfast was very good and I loved the cocktail bar at the front of the hotel. Location is ideal, around 10 minutes into town along a lovely promenade, 5 minutes to the Zlatni Rat beach with a large inflatable obstacle course. Very happy with the choice to stay here, had a great time.

A big hotel with a perfect location, halfway from the crowded center of Bol and the Zlatni Rat beach. Our room was spacious and clean, with a balcony and a great sea view. Most of the hotel is reserved by a French tour operator, and this must be taken into account, since the animation is mostly in French language. The Spa is exceptional. We did not use the swimming pool, but we can testify that is really big and perfectly cleaned, since we could see the hard work of the staff from our balcony. There is also a smaller swimming pool for children. We were on B&B and breakfast was almost perfect, the only regret is they you have to pay for espresso coffee, but it was cheap. Our suggestion for couples is to sleep here, have a good breakfast and then walk to the wonderful beaches nearby. Hoping to be back soon.

The place has a great location. To the right is the most famous beach in the world (or one of) and to the left are plenty of restaurants and bars if you walk down to the pier.

The place has a nightclub which isn’t very impressive but indoor bowling is cool
