“Great Bol Restaurant”
Reviewed August 17, 2014

We ate at Konoba Dalmatino during our stay in Bol. Loved the seating in the alleyway - actually didn't go inside myself, but apparently it is well worth a look at the memorabilia (only found out after I was there). We shared a meal of Grilled Squid and a serving of Monkfish - both were very good. This was all "washed" down with their house red wine - made locally. Worth a visit and one of the best that we had in Bol.

“Excellent food and service”
Reviewed August 17, 2014

Excellent traditional food and service. The truffle, ham and cheese gnocchi was our favourite; fantastic. We also enjoyed the catch of the day, having declined the lobster as it was so fresh it kept looking at us. Definitely worth a return visit.

“Best authentic dalmatian restaurant on Bol”
Reviewed August 14, 2014

Although on on the Riva, Konobar Dalmatino has a better menu than most of the restaurants on the Riva. Not your 'touristy' cevapcici, rajnici, or pizza, but well prepared and tasty dalmatian dishes. The octopus salad or the prawn soup are great as starters, and the nocci stuffed with cheese are the best I've ever eaten.Manager Drago is great..very attentive, and (unlike some other restaurants on Bol, if you reserve a table it will be ready for you at the time you require.

“Avoid at all costs”
Reviewed August 3, 2014 via mobile

We went here on our second night in Bol, a group of four of us, all big foodies in our late twenties. The menu looked great and a nice little location off the main front. There were no tables outside but they let us sit inside and wait, the 5 minutes they said we'd be waiting was more like 25, but no real bother. We ordered whilst waiting and a few items weren't available as they'd sold out, it was late in all fairness and I often find that's a good sign as it normally means it's all fresh!

Anyway the girls had a veg risotto to start and me and my friend had a soup, all nice enough, big portion of risottos which I hoovered up the bits my girlfriend couldn't finish. For mains three of us had huge steaks, that we're ok, all in really rich sauces, wasn't asked how we'd like them cooked, but that seems to be the Croatian way not to! And the other was a duck. Again all ok food wise, the veg weren't great at all though.

Our main problem was precisely five hours later all three of us that ate the risotto caught chronic food poisoning and wiped 2 days off our holiday being stuck in bed, and couldn't eat much or drink for the rest of our hols. The rice clearly hadn't been prepared or stored correctly. I'd highly recommend avoiding this place and enjoying your holiday instead.
