Description: Restaurant 'Mali Raj (Little Paradise)' in Bol on the island Brac is located in a wonderful location directly above the beach Zlatni rat. It is easily accessible by car, following the road to the famous beach 'Zlatni Rat'. The restaurant is built of stone, positioned inside an old olive grove with ancient olive trees and vineyards. Carefully selected details of the island's heritage, will give you unforgettable moments of the original Dalmatian cuisine and relaxation. Our menu is based on traditional Dalmatian cuisine. Besides the classi appetizers and main courses we offer recipes of fish, seafood and meat as well as various types of tartar, carpaccio and buzara. To recommend is our grill - whether it is grilled fish or grilled various meat delicacies. Enjoying the sea, olives and a glass of good wine... Our wine list offers a wide selection of quality wines that will satisfy the desires of our guests.

“Not What We Expected”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 10, 2012

The best thing about this restaurant is that it is the only place we ate at in Croatia that had female servers. That may be reason enough for some of you to go to this over-priced restaurant that serves large plates of underwhelming food, but not for us. The meals we had, sea bass and salmon steaks, lacked anything approaching flavor, so in spite of the fact that the chef is award-winning, at least on these dishes he missed the boat. We passed on some of what might have been his specialties because of the prices. Scampi, which is large shrimp still in the shell (head included), was about US $70, and the "number one fish" (unnamed) was about US $80. These prices were much more than the other restaurants we ate at during our 10 day trip in Croatia, so we passed on them. In my opinion, there are better restaurants in town. I wouldn't go back to this one.

“Never Disappointment”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 22, 2012

I've only been there once with my family- however, I can tell you that the food was outstanding! It has a great environment, friendly staff, and excellent food! We had a fish plate which was very delicious. The service was great, and everyone was so pleasant, even the owner who greets everyone. I highly recommend this restaurant - its worth going out of your way.

I heard about it on trip advisor and decided to visit it. It was worthed, because not only the food and location are excellent but also the waiters are fast, kind and willing to help. The atmosphere is great, and i enjoyed there. The next year i will be back for sure.

“Beautiful location”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 29, 2012

This restaurant is tucked away behind the beach and the main walkway. Beautiful location, and worth going just for this. The waiter was a bit hard sell with the fish- unsurprisingly he recommended the most expensive fish, claiming that the owner had caught it that morning. This aside, the rest of the service was very good and the food was delicious. I had the monkfish in champange and polenta, both of which were cooked perfectly and my partner had grilled calamari, again, cooked to perfection. If the waiter hadn't of been so pushy with the fish (unnecessarily because what we ordered from the menu was excellent), I would have given this restaurant 5 stars.
