“Best food I had in the old town”
Reviewed September 14, 2012

I only stayed in Lijiang for 3 nights but at this place I served the best food that I had in Lijiang.

I had Gung Bao Chicken and freshly sauted Mushrooms and some jelly large noodle types that is served by the entrance as fast food. It all tasted very good.

“Delicious”
Reviewed September 2, 2012 via mobile

Ate here twice. The food is delicious but it's a bit too salty for our taste bud. Service was fast and the waiter who took our order was really patient and nice.

“Hole in the wall, cheap and cheerful”
Reviewed July 22, 2012

We would have never ventured into this place had it not been for our guide taking us there, and the food was tasty, amazingly cheap, and quite diverse.Try the fried vegetable which looks like a bug but is like an artichoke.

“Delicious local cuisine!”
Reviewed July 3, 2012

A great place to try local cuisine.  This eatery has a very wide range of delicious dishes ranging from the usual suspects ( kong bao chicken) to kcal specialities ( pea jelly ) to really strange stuff ( fried dragonfly anyone??!!). M

Prices were very reasonable, service was good and we enjoyed the food so much we ate there 2 nights in a row!

One thing to note is that some of the dishes were really oily which is quite typical in China. So if you are health conscious, you may want to tell them to go easy on the oil.
