“Charm is wearing off.”
Reviewed September 2, 2013

This is my second visit; previous in 2004. Too many bars and Karaokes along the Northern streams are killing the charm of the place. The streams are dirty and the golden carps are gone. Hardly see those Naxi ladies and men who used to stroll along the streets of the old town that get it so much character.
On this trip, I saw one businessman in suit who actually threw the residue of his bowl of noodles into the adjacent stream in the old village before filling it up again with new ones. And its disgusting to see the bad habit of spitting in the streets still very prevalent.
Don't think I'll be coming back for another visit.

“park strolling”
Reviewed April 28, 2013

The park in Lijiang is very nice with flowers and views of Snow Mountain.

Quiet and peaceful.

Recommend it for a time away from the busy narrow streets of Old Town. It is a nice walk.

“Yu Long Xue Shan”
Reviewed April 17, 2013

Felt great satisfaction when we have reached the 4680 meter peak. The entrance fees and all other is expensive.

“Your garden at home is more exiciting”
Reviewed March 14, 2013

The place is such an overrated spot with basically no charme and need to be visited. There is a brigde and some small lakes or better water holes.

“A taste of the tibetan plateau”
Reviewed December 19, 2012

It is not quite the tibetan plateau but it is close (both in distance and in appearance), the park is very interesting to visit for a day, including taking the cable car to Yulong xueshan.
